Mercer nodded "he better have, we're certainly gonna need those when we leave this place" she whispered to her as she stood next to the rest of the group as Dash soon walked into the room wearing black gym shorts and a white tank top "Okay everyone, today we got our warm up laps, then we got some weght machines and finishing up with the obstacle course today, now line up on the track" she said and blew on her whistle

"Not that obstacle course again. That thing's way too tough for foals." Firecracker whined, glancing at Mercer sadly, tail covering her shorts as she remembered the last few times she tried navigating said course.

Dash blew on her whistle again to get everyone moving up to the track

Mercer would have pointed out that the course isn't too tough, it's just that Firecracker wasn't the most fit pony, but due to things that have already happened, and their truce to be nicer so they could focus on escape, she kept her mouth shut and moved to the line, Mercer was one of the better ponies in gym, and actually had the record for fastest on the obstacle course, which is why she enjoyed gym, she hardly got spanked here

Firecracker yelped at the whistle and hurriedly tried running out with the others to the line, glancing around nervously. While plenty of unicorns weren't physically fit, Firecracker was certainly on the lower end of the scale. Even when Dash said to try her best, that wasn't always a passing grade. She took one breath and frankly told herself the same thing she always did: stay as close to Mercer as possible and you'll get spanked less.

Staying close to mercer was a pretty tough thing, as she was one of the most physically fit in the whole place as she stretched a bit before getting down into her running stance

Firecracker gave one last look at her friend before giving a small nod as she tried to psych herself up and tried to take off running as soon as she heard the whistle, even though others had a much faster start then her.

Mercer smirked as she heard the whistle blow and took off, and within a couple seconds of them running, Mercer was already out in front of the rest of the group running ahead, and not too far behind was GLoria, along with some other foals in the mix of kids running, and behind all of them was rainbow Dash, giving out 'encouragemet spanks' to the ones in back, so as long as Firecracker stayed out of last place, she wouldn't be getting any spanks
