Pax was kneeling in a corner and pushing a large mess out. He didn't even move hearing his papa's footsteps approaching the room. He grunts and whimpers as he gets it out. The assassin makes sure she is not followed she must hurry and alert her superiors that the vampire lord is suspicious of her but knows not who sent her. Once she has done so she is taken away to be punished for her failure and the backup plan is exacted. Destroy the wall of the room they are in while the sun is at it's highest.

Within the time she had been away, Ulix had taken Pax from the room they were currently in. He didn't bother changing him as he was more focused on getting to some place that was just simply not where they used to be. So, he had taken Pax with him to a room, one that was more towards the interior of the castle. He didn't want to be near the walls lest they be spied on more easily.

The benefit for being known as quite strange by many was that many did not bat much of an eye at you when you did what was natural. So, Ulix suddenly taking Pax from one room to the next did not garner too much attention from wandering eyes of those that were none the wiser as to what was going on.

The vampire lord had taken himself, and his son, to what was basically another room for people to stay inside of... Or what was literally the guard barracks of the place.

The gaurds who were in the room were about 30% suprised, 60% scared, and 10% confused. That confusion raises when there's suddenly a lound bang that shakes the building. Gaurds are dispatched to either check out the situation or gaurd the vips. "My lord place stay in here and do not leave in case of danger." Little Pax whimpers scared and buries his face in daddy's neck and wraps himself in his own tail for comfort.

Ulix's ears perked up at the sound of the explosion. He looked towards the door as the guards rushed out of there and smirked to himself slightly. Looks like he made a good call out of what could have been easily perceived as being paranoid. In his relief, he was lightly scratching Pax's head behind his ears.

"Don't worry, we'll be fine. We'll just have to wait here until it's safe to head out there again." He told the werewolf boy.

Pax enjoyed the scratches. Nothing felt as good as Daddy's claws behind his ears. He still was a sad baby boy "Wanna go home" he said. He didn't really like being away from home too much because something disastrous tends to happen. Home is safe. Home is where he and daddy can eat, play, and cuddle as much as they want. Home is where he never has to worry if there's a clean cloth available and where he doesn't have to dress in these silly big boy clothes. Home to Pax was like the promise land. Home with daddy was like heaven.

Ulix gave his son a little nod in response to the statement. "We will have to wait for a little while, Pax. Once that time passes, then we may head home and you'll get to enjoy life as you usually do." He said with a nod before looking around for a few moments. "You can handle that, correct?" He left the extra changing supplies in the other room, unfortunately.

Pax whimpered but nodded. He was going to probably be fussy for a while but it was going to be his bed time soon anyway. While he's no vampire he is a vampire's son so he must follow his father's rules and schedule. Luckily being raised by Ulix since infancy means he doesn't really complain as he knows no better. The night to him isnt dark and scary. The day to him was bright and blinding. The guards search the area and luckily find no casualties but they do find something in the room. They find a skeleton. A hare skeleton. As if to say the wolves are trying to send a message to an intended target.

It didn’t take him too long to get Pax into one of those beds. He was sure that the guard would understand just fine, the one who may have previously occupied that bed. “Please do catch some rest, Pax, I will be going on a bit more business, but I want you to be safe.” With that said, he stepped away briefly, to the door, glanced back for a moment, and then began to make his way back to the other room to see what had happened.

He whimpers as he begins falling asleep. The day was young but the little wolf baby was tired. But he was also worried. Worried about if his daddy will return to him.

Ulix had moved his way over to where the guards had gone. He knew there was sunlight and all, but he was hardly threatened by it. He wouldn’t be instantly wiped out by it, but it most certainly would burn. That may explain why he was so nonchalant about heading towards the scene of the assimilation attempt on him.

To one of the guards, he asked, “So, what did you people find?”
