Ulix shook his head at the sound of that. “Well, we need you to be creating a good impression, not a bad one. Many of the people that go to these meetings will ultimately see you as quite the laughing stock if I were to send you in there dressed as if you were toddler in every way.” He told him, leaning back on the dresser white his hands lightly digging into its surface and tapping his claws on it too. “I know that doesn’t sound very fair, or nice, but consider it this way: Ruling requires the people you rule over to acknowledge you as such. Somehow damaging that image would be far from good for anyone. Especially if it results in some sort of scandal or drama.” He told Pax, deciding to run his head lightly. “Surely you understand them; right?”

"Yes daddums" Pax reluctantly says as his ears lower but leans on his papa. He tried to find a middle ground but as always daddy was right. He is already at his disadvantage due to his race he has to do his best to look nice and sit quietly like a good little boy. Perhaps he can change into better clothes after the meeting. Though sometimes they last until sunrise and those are the worst

With that having been said, Ulix for his son out of the pajamas he wore. A few moments later and he was helping him into the clothing that he had pulled out for him. “The night is still quite young so we can’t take our time getting over there.” He told him, lightly running a hand over the top of his head. “Think toy can handle that well enough?” He asked, wondering if he should maybe be ready for any potential interruptions like needing to send Pax home early.

Pax looked himself over. While he hated big boy or big girl clothes he did want to make sure he was to the standards of his dear papa
He ran a comb through his long flowing hair and then did the same to his tail making sure it was well groomed. He reminisced the days when daddy would lay him Pax over his knee and come his tail for him. It is so relaxing and comfortable. He wishes for more days like that. He sighs amd got a ribbon and tied his hair into a pony tail and turned to his father and bowed waiting for judgment

Once he saw his son and the way he had dressed himself, Ulix gave a small clap of approval and kept his hands clasped together. "You look wonderful. Now, I know full well that this isn't exactly the kind of attire you usually prefer, but it is important that we are to make a sort of good impression on those I work with." He told him, placing a hand on Pax's shoulder. "Once this is done, I will see about getting you a treat. Does that sound alright with you?"

"Yes daddy" was all the response he verbally gave his father. Afterwards he gave a little bow to be curtious, a littlebcurtsie just for fun, and then gave his father a big hug just because no matter what he's daddy's little baby. He was careful not to slobber or shed on his daddy's clothes and broke the hug quickly

With the us having been broken, Ulix lightly pat him on the head. “Let’s get you something to eat before we get out there. You and I know that anybody can be quite unhappy when they are hungry.” He told him, leading him a way and out of the room with a hand on his back. “Tell me though... What do you think would be good to eat? I know you have a liking for meat, and that is usually what I tend to have, but I’ll let you choose this time. Just bare in mind that I may not let you have it if it is too much.”

Pax cutely blushed and swayed side to side with his hands clasped in front of him like a shy small child. He knew daddy was saying he can get fussy on an empty stomach and he was correct. Pax was happy that daddy honored him with a choice. A choice of a delicious meal. He knew his father mostly feasted on blood but would sometimes devour flesh as well. Pax enjoyed flesh and raw meat quite a bit. He opted for a choice they would both like. "Live goat with its milk on the side please daddy?" He requested. Lots of blood. Nice meat. Plus decent milk

Ulix tilted his head slightly and nodded. Turning to a nearby masked servant, he said, "Go fetch what he has asked for. Do not take too long as we do have a meeting coming up soon." He said, which then resulted in the servant heading off elsewhere. He began to guide Pax to the kitchen of the manor. "Now, you do remember not to eat too much, right? We don't need a repeat incident of your first meeting."
