The girl of course giggled and cooed with every word and every tickle to her sensitive skin, her subconscious mind apparently loving this sort of attention. Whenever the woman stopped, the girl just kept the smile underneath her "paci", sitting still and again occasionally murmuring "Mama" or "Mommy".

When the woman sat her upright and bounced her, the girl opened her mouth up wide, causing the tip of the bottle to fall out. But... instead of immediately snapping out of her trance-like state, the girl, with her eyes still closed, hands on her hips and her padded bum being lightly bounced, laughed in the most infantile and precious manner possible the loudest she had done yet. A smile ear to ear and the sounds of her cute giggles filling the room, it really did seem like the woman was holding a real baby on her lap.

(Maybe Cordelia could take this as a sign. She does it now and notices how the girl reacts subconsciously, then perhaps does it while they're outside during story time and Severa, while conscious, starts giggling and catches herself.)

Cordelia's eyes widened in alarm as the 'pacifier' popped out of her daughter's mouth and toppled off her lap onto the bed. Instantly she racked her brain to come up with an explanation for their current position that would stop her from having another temper-tantrum. Severa was not going to be a happy camper when she realized what was happening...

However, the reaction she was expecting never came. Instead, the woman heard one of the most adorable little laughs she had ever heard in her entire life. Looking at Severa, it appeared the girl was still in her infantile state of mind while she was being bounced like this...And it was pretty clear the diapered teen was enjoying it.

Breathing a small sigh of relief, her mother smiled and gave her a cuddle before resuming bouncing her up and down in her lap. If 'little' Severa liked this so much, she couldn't help but wonder what 'big' Severa's reaction would be...

The girl just resumed laughing it up, even managing to squeal out the word "Mommy" instead of holding it back like she usually did in this state. "Little" Severa was clearly enjoying this...

However, the girl's eyes eventually stared to open, now discovering that she was sitting upright in the woman's lap wearing nothing underneath but her diaper, her mother's hands rested on her hips and her knee supporting her bottom.

"Um... M-mom? What are you doing?" Severa asked, seemingly back to normal as she madly blushed.

Cordelia's cheeks turned a little pink as she suddenly found herself looking into Severa's open eyes; the teen now appearing to have been roused from her babyish trance. The woman knew already that her daughter wouldn't exactly be too fond of the complete truth if she told her, so she thought of a little fib.
"Oh, you just dozed off while you were drinking your water sweetie." The knight replied simply, standing up and carrying her out of her room. "So I sat you up in my lap and tried to see if that would wake you up at all. It looks like it worked." She explained, speaking quickly so Severa wouldn't have time to ask questions. "So now that you're awake and hydrated, how about we read a little more?"

"Um... I, uh... okay..." Severa replied, still a bit confused but being interrupted before she could ask anything. She'd just have to take the woman's word for it; one moment she was drinking from a baby bottle, the next she was upright in the woman's lap. What happened between then?

As they walked out the back door once again, the woman realized that in her hurry to get back outside to distract Severa, she had forgotten to dress the girl's lower-half like she had been planning on doing! The teenaged girl was currently just sitting in her arms in just a light tee and her diaper.
Cordelia was going to turn around, but she reconsidered and carried her back to the chair they had been sitting in earlier. With how warm it was outside, she'd likely be much more comfortable in just the diaper anyway.
So, she sat herself down on the lawn chair and got the pampered girl in the same position in her lap as before. "So where did we leave off honey?" Cordelia said with a smile, picking up the book and opening it up over Severa's lap like before.

The girl, noticing that she was in a diaper, started to stammer as she was carried back outside in just a tee and diaper. "M-mom? W-what are you doing? You said you'd put something over this!" Severa whined softly, not wanting anyone to hear as her crinkly butt was rested back on the woman's lap once more.

"Honey, I promise you no one can see your diaper. The book completely covers it up; see?" She assured in reply, gesturing down at the opened pages. The way the book was set down in Severa's lap, it pretty much completely blocked out the infantile padding. The only ways that someone unawares would be able to tell she was wearing a diaper was to see the thick, white mass between her legs under the storybook, which could only be done if you were walking out of their home, and being able to make out the little hem of the diaper peeking out under her shirt and over the book slightly. "I think you'll be way more comfortable like this. Just relax and focus on story-time, okay dear? I swear there's nothing to be embarassed about."

The girl proceeded to stammer her next few words, unable to find consolation with having the book covering up the thick, babyish undergarment. She gave up after a while, however, looking back to the woman whose lap she was rested on. "Fine... but if someone sees me like this..." The girl said somewhat bitterly, though not finishing her declaration... partly because she knew she wasn't going to do anything.

Cordelia gave her daughter a little hug for assurance. "I promise no one will darling." She cooed warmly, soon focusing her eyes back on the words of the page. "Now just relax and let's pick up where we left off..."

And after she said that, Cordelia began to read to her once again. The knight truely did hope the stubborn girl in her lap would be able to enjoy herself without being too self-conscious about her diaper. While she understood why she might be embarassed, it's not like anyone was going to rest see them or get a good enough view of the babyish garment under the book to tell what it was anyway.
