Sure, she was treating Severa like she was a small child right now, but that seemed to be working pretty well...

The girl wasn't expecting to be lifted up so suddenly and maintain the same position in the woman's arms. However, feeling the cushy undergarment press and crinkle loudly against her bottom with a a hand supporting it caused the girl to momentarily giggle. This time, however, the girl noticed what she did almost immediately, cupping her hands to her face with a rosy-red blush.

Her child's momentary giggle didn't escape Cordelia, causing the woman to let out a little giggle herself in response, gently patting Severa's back as she walked back inside. She got the sense that the little redhead in her arms had a few other chilish pleasures she enjoyed, but didn't know about yet. Maybe some more 'play time' would be in order later to try and get her in a good mood again...

Once she shut the door, the pegasus knight walked back to the couch and sat down, her daughter still snug in her lap. "Feel a little better now honey?"

The girl eventually let her arms rest back to their sides, Severa sighing in relief upon being back inside. "Y-yeah... a lot better, actually... I'm surprised at how hot it was out there... I was dying!" Severa replied, though feigning being hot as to give some sort of excuse for wanting to come in. This was futile, however, as she stated the real reason a while earlier.

Severa was usually to flustered to be a good liar; Cordelia already knew the truth anyway. Regardless, she just gently rubbed the pampered girl's back again, deciding to just leave it at that and let the teen relax again. "Of course dear. Now tell me, are you getting hungry at all? I can start dinner soon if you are..." She replied, secretly hoping Severa wouldn't want anything so she could have an excuse to keep holding her in her lap like this.

Severa was honestly not hungry, though not quite knowing that the woman was hoping for that sort of response. "Uh... no, not really..." She replied honestly, propping back as she felt the back of her head prop against the woman's plump breasts, soft like pillows.

The motherly woman was thankful Severa was currently facing away from her; she was struggling to hide her smile from the news that the aforementioned girl didn't appear to be in a big hurry to leave their current, cozy position here. As a result, Cordelia couldn't help gently wrapping an arm around her waist, the other gently running her fingers though her daughter's long hair. Keeping Severa calm and relaxed was her number one priority right now. "Okay sweetie, if that's the case, is there anything mama can do to make you more comfortable?" She offered warmly.

In her mind, she knew that there was something comforting and relaxing about being held like this, but of course she would never voluntarily admit that. "TV, I guess? I dunno," she replied, again keeping her head up against the woman's chest. Without realizing it, she began to smile just a bit as her hair was combed.

"That sounds great honey. What do you feel like watching?" Her mother replied, taking the remote next to them and turning on their living room television. Amusingly, the TV was still set to the young children's channel Severa had been watching earlier, a cutesy, colorful little cartoon now displayed on the screen.
Rather than start flipping through the channels, Cordelia let this one stay on while she waited for Severa's answer. She had seen how much her child had enjoyed this channel before (though the didn't seem like she was going to admit it), so the woman wanted to get a chance to see her reaction.
