Severa was starting to work herself up, but surprisingly, being lifted back up into the woman's arms calmed her down significantly. She took more time to breathe, trying not to think about it too much as not to make herself light-headed over pondering. And, come to think about it, the girl was pretty tired...

"Um... o-okay, Mama... I guess I'm a bit tired..." Severa conceded, blinking up at the woman before letting out another yawn like before.

Cordelia smiled at the teenager's willingness to cooperate. She had been expecting another argument over the matter. "Good, I think it'll really do your body some good darling." She replied warmly, starting to get up so she could tuck her in. But before the woman could get to her feet, an idea came to mind. Severa just looked so adorable and innocent...

"...Sweetie, I think I know something that would really help you relax for your nap..." She began, grinning.

Severa, laying clad in a diaper, blushed and looked up to her mother, her eyes hardly able to stay open with how groggy she now was with the suddenness of the apparent diaper change not affecting her anymore. "W-what?" She asked, having absolutely no idea what she could have meant.

The woman just smiled to herself and moved her arms out under Severa again, picking her up and cradling her snugly in her arms once again. Once she made sure her child was nice and comfortable, Cordelia began to gently rock her back and forth in her arms like an infant. If that wasn't enough, she began to softly hum the rhythm of 'hush little baby'.

Severa didn't bother to put up a fight, knowing well by now that it would just wear her achy body out more. She did, however, whine upon being picked up and cradled by the woman as she sung the baby song. "Mama.... I'm not... I'm... Mommmmy..." She whined, her tone actually becoming progressively heavier just like her eyes. Oddly enough, the girl, whose hands were already crossed over her chest and facing upward, soon found her thumb in her mouth and suckling lightly as the song was beginning to take effect.

Barely managing to contain her giggles at how simply precious her daughter looked, Cordelia kept at it, slowly rocking Severa back and forth in her arms and humming the lullaby. It seemed to be working even better than the pegasus knight had thought; the small girl looked like she was barely awake just a short time into being rocked. Seeing her start to suck her thumb while was still awake was also an interesting (and extremely cute) occurrence.
Looking down at Severa as she loved on her, it was hard to believe the teenager in her arms was the same bratty and stubborn girl that had first met. Here she was, clad in only her cutesy, thick diaper and sucking her thumb as she was rocked to sleep...Cordelia finally felt like she was taking care of her baby...

Severa's eyes transitioned back and forth between opened and closed, finally resulting in her closing them for good as she drifted off to sleep right in the woman's arms, thumb still popped in her mouth during this mid-afternoon "baby" nap. She really did look like an oversized infant; all she would need was something to replace the habit of sucking her thumb and potentially some better-suited clothes...

Cordelia kept at it until she was completely sure she was asleep, the crimson-haired knight still keeping Severa cradled in her arms after stopped and just smiling down at her. She just felt so...attached to her daughter right now. The woman couldn't help but feel elated at how much the two of them had bonded over these last few days. A month ago, she would have found it more likely for a donkey to give birth to a Wyvern than to hear Severa ever call her 'Mommy'.

"Mommy loves you sweetie...Yes she does..." She cooed softly down to the sleeping girl, kissing her on the forehead. "Mommy loves her baby more than anything else in the whole wide world..."

About to stand up and tuck her into bed for her nap, the motherly woman just couldn't bear to tear herself away from the adorable teen. Thinking about it, a little nap could be nice...It was a bit too early to start dinner anyway.
Grinning to herself, she slowly turned and laid down on Severa's bed, positioning her diapered child so that she was still cuddled up in her arms next to her (she even let her keep sucking her thumb). Severa had asked if the two of them could sleep next to each other again sometime; well she was going to get it.

"Sleep tight baby...Mommy's right here with you..." She whispered lovingly before closing her own eyes.

Severa, peacefully asleep, could be heard cooing more infantile words and babbles, most notably the word "Mommy" repeated multiple times. The girl's dreams, this time, were almost heavenly, her enjoying a nice picnic with just her and her mother on a lovely evening. Severa was wearing a skirt and, strangely enough, a diaper, all while the woman had changing supplies nearby and spoke to her in a very childish, motherly way. In her dreams, however, she didn't seem to mind this, as well as not minding being changed, fed from her bottle, and cuddled by her. She accepted it all willingly and embraced it with open arms...

The girl, during the nap, began to grunt and groan. Her breakfast finally catching up to her, she let out an explosive, squishy fart in the seat of her diaper, followed shortly after by squelches and crinkling as the seat of her diaper expanded and the air under the covers began to smell.

The older shepherd had long since fallen asleep herself, extremely cozy and relaxed with her daughter curled up in her arms. Her dreams were just as pleasant as Severa's just from the other perspective. She was walking into a colorful room that was, upon further inspection, a large baby nursery. And inside the crib was the large 'baby', Severa on her knees with her arms outstretched for her behind the bars. Just like in real life, she was clad in only her diaper; but in her dream the girl was also sucking on an appropriately sized pacifier and was wearing cute little pink baby booties on her feet.
"Good morning precious! How did Mommy's little princess sleep?" The dream version of herself cooed to the dream version of Severa. This babyfied teen seemed to giggle happily and babble some adorable baby talk, still holding her arms out for her as she approached the crib. Upon closer inspection Her diaper was swollen and discolored on both ends, and a telltale smell was in their air... (Unbeknownst to Cordelia, the smell of real-world Severa's dirty diaper was influencing this part of her dream).
"Uh oh! I think someone needs her didee changed..." She cooed, scooping the teenager out of her crib and showering her with snuggles and tickles, much to dream-Severa's delight. "Mama's gonna get you all nice and clean, and then you can have your morning num-nums..."

Sighing in content, the sleeping woman gently cuddled her daughter closer as she dreamed, Severa not making enough movements to wake her up yet.
