The girl was now fired up. She had been surprisingly calm and collected without putting up much of a struggle with her mother, but now she really felt she was being belittled by her just from that one, single action. "I would if you wouldn't spank me like a petulant little toddler!"

[Diapee Girl]

"And I wouldn't have to in the first place if you weren't acting like a petulant little toddler!" Cordelia retorted, her voice in her frustration actually far louder than she meant for it to be. The moment she realized she had yelled, the woman quickly took a deep breath to Calm herself down. "Look Severa, you just have to understand that there are certain rules in this house; and one of them is no profanity, especially when speaking to me. I don't want to punish you sweetie, so can you please just cooperate with Mama?"

[thelonegrunt]

The girl's eyes widened at the woman's tone growing louder and more fierce than hers, causing her to shut her mouth immediately and actually look a bit scared. She recovered, however, as Cordelia's tone softened, causing the girl to once again pout and turn away at the request. "Whatever. Gawds, get off my back, why don't ya?"

While Severa's words were rude, Cordelia decided to let it slide for now so that the two of them could start to settle down. "I'm sorry I yelled honey..." She said after a pause, holding the girl a little closer to herself. "I just want you to know that you don't have to get so defensive about everything. I'm 'on your back' because I care about you deeply. There's just a certain degree of respect I expect from you as your mother."

Wanting to turn the conversation to something a little more pleasant, Cordelia remembered she hadn't cleared the table yet. "Say, now that your tummy feels better, how does a nice yummy bowl of ice cream sound for dessert?"

The girl did not respond to Cordelia during her rebuttal, turning away with her cheeks puffed-out. She did, however, look interested upon hearing ice cream being mentioned. Despite being such a tough girl and hardened warrior, she had quite the sweet tooth. "Um... what kind? Strawberry?"

[Diapee Girl]

Her mother smiled at her reply. "Sure. Whatever sounds yummy sweetie-pie." She cooed down Warmly to the diapered girl cradled in her arms. Cordelia couldn't resist a playful little pat on her child's padded rear before standing up and carrying her back to the kitchen table. "I'll get a bowl ready for you dear. Just sit still and mama will have it right out." She said, sitting Severa down in her chair with a soft crinkle before moving back to the refrigerator to get the ice cream.

Severa whined a little under her breath as she felt her padded rear being patted, then sitting still but coiling her arms around the woman's neck once she was lifted. As she was placed down on the chair, however, she strangely enough did not let go of the woman's neck for a few moments, finally letting go after looking down and realizing she was no longer in her arms.

Still smiling to herself due to how clingy Severa was acting unconsciously, Cordelia took the tub of strawberry ice cream out of the freezer and filled a bowl up with a few scoops. From there, put the ice cream away again and returned to the table with a spoon. However, when she sat down, the motherly knight's first action was to take Severa's bib from earlier and move to tie it around the teenager's neck.

Severa gave it another odd look, but she obviously didn't fight it, instead choosing to sit still and allow it to be placed around her neck. Seeing the ice cream being placed on the table along with the spoon, she licked her lips and started to reach for the spoon.

Releived that the tomboy wasn't throwing a tantrum over having to wear bibs, Cordelia tied the babyish item around Severa's neck. When she noticed the aforementioned girl reaching for the ice cream, she gently grabbed her wrist to hold it it place. The woman didn't move it away or move the spoon; she just looked up at the padded teen. "Sweetie, do you think you can do this yourself? Be honest".
