The girl could feel it before she even grabbed the spoon; the wobbliness in her arms mixed with the aching in them as well as her back as she bent forward. What was so alarming about this was that she didn't even realize just how bad it was hurting until whenever the woman mentioned it. If there's one thing the girl hated, it was the feeling of helplessness and the need to depend on others considering how long she lived on her own.

And right now, in her current state, she wasn't showing bitterness or anger towards the woman; she looked at her for several moments, her eyes shifted around to the features of her mother's face as she looked to her with seriousness yet compassion, conviction yet love. The more the question resonated in her mind, the more some of her memories came back into mind, memories of being reminded of the times in which she was little and afraid, helpless and unable to care for herself. She was conflicted between being reintroduced to that helpless state after being independent for so long...

The moment the girl felt her eyes well up with tears, she looked down, bringing her arm back down to her side and trying to fight away the urge to cry. She kept it restrained, taking a deep breath and a sniffle as a stray tear fell down each eye.

Cordelia's expression softened the moment her child began to choke back sobs. While she was pleasantly surprised to see that the teen had accepted she needed help for this, it broke her heart to see Severa cry.
Without a moment of hestitation, the motherly night pushed the bowl to the side for a moment and scooted her chair beside Severa's. Then, Cordelia swiftly and gently lifted the teary-eyed girl into her lap and rested her head against her shoulder. "It's okay honey, you can let it out if you want to..." She assured lovingly, gently rubbing Severa's back as the girl choaked back tears. "Mama's here for you...I know you're scared, but you don't have to bottle up all your feelings sweetie. I love you dearly sweetheart, and nothing could ever change that..."

The girl looked up to the woman for just a second with teary-eyes and closed lips, a sad yet also surprisingly adorable sight for Cordelia to behold. The girl was choking up on her own need to cry, but eventually she took more deep breaths and managed to collect herself enough to stop crying, now just keeping herself up against the woman and slowly, unknowingly resting her head against one of her breasts. "Thanks..." Severa replied.

The pegasus knight didn't immidiately respond; instead just smiling down warmly at the pampered girl and giving her a kiss on the top of the head to show she had meant what she said. The crimson-haired woman opted to keep Severa nice and snuggled up against her bosom to help calm her down while she needed it. After another minute or so when Severa seemed okay again; Cordelia spoke up. "It would certainly be a shame if this yummy ice-cream here went to waste now, would it? Want some dear?"

The girl sniffled a few more times after that, but soon she was quiet and calm once more. In response to the question, the girl nodded her head up and down lightly, then feeling the woman's breasts up against the back of her head. Turning around, her suspicion was confirmed by seeing two plump breasts, another rosy-red blush on her cheeks as she turned back around and sat more upright.

Cordelia smiled as the crimson-haired teen relaxed, resisting a giggle when Severa noticed she had had been laying against her chest. Seeing as the two of them seemed comfortable in this postion, the woman gently wrapped one arm around her child's waist, the other grabbing the spoon and getting a scoop of icecream on it. "Now then, can you say 'Aah' for me honey?" She cooed warmly as she moved the spoon towards Severa's lips.

Severa continued to stay upright as her mother wrapped an arm around her waist, then opening her mouth up and cutely exclaiming "Aah" as the spoon was placed into her mouth. After closing her lips around it and scooping the ice cream with her tongue, the girl smiled and let out an audible "Mmm" under her lips.

The motherly shepherd beamed. "Good girl...Mama's glad you like it." She said, giving her child a kiss on the top of the head before getting another spoonful ready and continuing to feed her the dessert. This was oddly...calming to Cordelia. The situation was just so peaceful and precious, Severa snug in her lap. She always felt very close to her usually distant daughter in these situations...

The girl just continued to eat bite after bite, smiling and even partially wiggling about in the woman's lap. One bite, however, caused a sudden, painful headache of sorts to emerge, prompting the girl to whine loudly and grit her teeth, also pressing herself hard into her mother's chest.

Though her daughter's discomfort was suprising, Cordelia had a good idea of what was causing it. "Brain freeze honey?" She chuckled, putting the spoon down for a moment and gently cuddling the grimacing girl to help comfort her. "You are eating pretty fast...Its okay sweetie-pie, it'll go away soon. Try pressing your tongue to the roof of your mouth; that'll make the ache fade faster." She advised, almost sounding like she was talking to a young child rather than a teenager.
