The girl, as she was let go, continued to whine and whimper under her breath, faintly murmuring now-unintelligible gibberish. She was clearly thinking of something, but her mind now seemingly disconnected from body as there was hardly anything that could be understood. To some, it would actually seem like baby gibberish...

For the life of her, Cordelia couldn't figure out what was causing Severa to ask so distraught all of the sudden. It was clear something was wrong, the pathetic little babbles coming from the girl just making the woman's heart melt. What could be the matter?

The crimson-haired woman ran through the checklist in her head. Was she in pain? Cordelia didn't know why she would be, having made sure she was gentle with her. She definitely would have felt if she used her diaper, so it couldn't be that either. Maybe she was hungry? No, that couldn't be it, she ate right before she left for the fields a little bit ago...what could she do to comfort the pampered child?

Out of ideas, Cordelia decided to take another page out of Sumia's baby-care methods. So, figuring it didn't hurt to try, she have Severa a little bounce on her lap.

Severa, in her distraught state, seemed to be struggling to form words, intent on saying something through this state of unconsciousness but being absolutely unable to. It was disheartening to watch... but as the girl was brought closer to her mother and bounced a little, the whining soon stopped. It transitioned slowly from whining, to silence, then smiles and eventually tiny, adorable giggles.

The crimson-haired woman breathed out a sigh of relief when she noticed Severa reacting positively to being bounced. Her it made her heart sing seeing her happy again...
"Good girl...isn't that better? You have such a precious little smile, you know that cutie-pie?" Cordleia softly cooed to the giggling girl in her lap, continuing to bounce the diapered teen. Maybe she was getting a little carried away with taking care of Severa...but her daughter simply looked to happy and adorable to deny her this.

Eventually, her mother slowly stopped bouncing the crinkly-bottomed girl, hoping that it was enough to Severa in a good mood again. Curious as to what the unconscious girl's reaction would be, Cordelia gently held the girl closely and cozily yet again, mimicking the same, soothing movements as before. "Just relax baby...Everything's gonna be okay..."

Strangely enough, the moment the attention was shifted from being playfully bounced to lovingly cradled and cooed to, the girl returned to that state of saddening babbles and unintelligible words, again trying desperately to get something out but being completely unable to.

Cordelia frowned when Severa's distraught babbling emerged yet again. What was going on inside her daughter's head right now? If only she could make out what she was trying to say...But that clearly wasn't going to happen until the mercenary was conscious again. So, the woman winged it.

"Honey, I don't know what's bothering you right now, but I can promise you that everything's going to be alright now...If you can hear me, just relax little one...it's okay..." She cooed comfortingly, this time not stopping loving on her while the teen softly whined. "I'm sure you'll be all better in no time at all...and until then I'll be right here with you. So just relax baby girl...Mama loves you not matter what..."

The girl's whining did manage to die down with the unfaltering displays of affection on the part of Cordelia, though there was still something apparently there. Although they deteriorated, they did not entirely go away, leaving the girl only faintly whining as she nuzzled closely to the woman's chest...

"Poor little thing..." The woman whispered, nuzzling her daughter close. At this point, she was seriously annoyed with herself that she hadn't bought a pacifier for at the 'baby' supply store earlier. She just needed something to help calm Severa down a little...It was then that she noticed the whimpering girl was close to the same position she had been in the bathroom.

Her cheeks darkening to the point that they were getting dangerously close to the color of her hair, Cordelia couldn't believe what she was considering. But it broke her heart seeing the teen in her arms so upset...she would do anything it took to comfort her child.
So, desperately hoping no one would walk in, the knight slowly pulled off her top and unclasped her bra, leaving herself completely topless. Blushing all over, she gently guided Severa's mouth towards her left nipple; desperately hoping this would work.

Severa, after being guided, latched on to the woman's exposed nipple. The whines were muffles, but eventually they stopped. They would soon be replaced with the sound and feeling of the girl gently suckling on Cordelia's nipple, the feeling of discomfort now apparently gone.

Cordelia couldn't believe she was doing this, but it seemed to be working. The girl her arms looked calm and content once again.
Once she got over the initial embarrassment of the situation, the woman actually found herself smiling down at how simply precious Severa looked right now. Clothed in only a puffy, babyish diaper and sucking on a breast, the mercenary had never looked so innocent and adorable. "Such a good girl..." She cooed softly, resuming the loving cuddles she had been giving her before as the teen suckled on her teat. Though obviously no breastmilk came out, as Cordelia had yet to become pregnant, this was still a magical bonding experience between the two, even if Severa probably wouldn't remember it.
Running her fingers through the girl's silky, crimson hair, Cordelia began to hum a gentle lullaby; she wanted her 'baby' to be as comfy as possible.
