Severa focused on the taste, doing what she could to eliminate the stomach-churning thought of this whole situation from her mind. Strangely enough, the rhythmic suckling on the rubber nipple coupled with the cool, refreshing taste of the milk was doing wonders for the girl, who seemed to be growing more comfortable with each passing suckle.

It even got to the point where the girl was starting to forget about other things, as well...

As the bottle was about halfway empty, a slight hissing sound could be heard by the woman (but not by the girl) accompanied by a growing, dark stain at the front of Severa's diaper. She didn't seem to quite notice what was currently happening to her...

Things seemed to be going well. Cordelia could actually see her daughter's tension melting away over time as the bottle slowly drained. Not wanting to disturb her, the motherly knight kept quiet and simply held the baby bottle up to her lips, yet part of her had to resist the urge to softly coo at her and tell Severa how good she was doing.

And, because it was so quiet, the faint sound of Severa flooding her diaper was quickly noticed by her mother. Though her diaper was currently hidden by the blanket she was part-way underneath, the sound, and the barely noticeable telltale smell of urine gave Cordelia all the information she needed to know. Severa hadn't even noticed at all that she had gone...The crimson-haired woman's suspicion that diapers may not be a temporary thing for the bratty mercenary kept growing and growing. However, a more pressing situation was how Severa would react to her sodden padding after she snapped out of her baby bottle-induced trance...

Cordelia said nothing, simply deciding to focus on feeding the girl at this moment, rather than getting her riled up again over a soggy diaper. Severa just looked too precious right now to interrupt.

Eventually, the girl broke out of this self-induced trance upon realizing that the bottle was empty. She didn't figure it out immediately, however, as she suckled on the empty thing for a solid 10 or 20 seconds like a pacifier before finally realizing it, opening her eyes and letting go.

Resisting a small giggle when Severa continued to suck on the bottle even after she had drank all the milk, Cordelia pulled the plastic nipple out from the teen's mouth when she eventually opened it. "See, that wasn't so bad, was it dear?" She cooed warmly, setting the now empty bottle back on the bedside table for now. The pegasus knight didn't quite know how to bring up the subject of the wet diaper to her child, as she was wondering if Severa could even tell that she had wet in the first place.

"I... guess that was alright..." She meagerly replied, though feeling a bubbling sensation in the pit of her stomach traveling quickly upward. She would feel no need to panic, however, as the culprit was nothing but a loud, wet burp which honestly caught even her by surprise.

The sudden, burp completely made Cordelia forget what she was about to reply with. There was a sort of stunned silence for a few moments afterward, followed by the crimson-haired woman breaking out into a fit of chuckles at the silliness of the situation. As long as Severa would be drinking from bottles, gas afterward would be fairly normal.
"Can you lean forward a little bit for me sweetie?" She asked, resting her hand on her daughter's shoulder.

Severa's cheeks were blush-red, but it was only because she did this in front of her mother. In her own time period, she'd let loose louder burps than the majority of the army men who she sat down to eat with on certain occasions. Remembering this, she chuckled, though stopping upon the request from her mother. Not sure of what she wanted to do but having enough trust in her, she did as she was asked and leaned a bit forward as Cordelia's hand laid on her shoulder.

"That's it..." The knight said assuringly as Severa leaned forward slightly, moving her back off of the headboard of the bed which she had been sitting up against. She didn't make her move too much, as she didn't want to strain her lower back. Just enough to give Cordelia the space she needed for this procedure.
Then, once she had the space, the older redhead began to gently rub and pat Severa's upper-back in little circles. She hoped this would help clear out any remaining gas that was left. The day before, the unconscious girl had burped a few times while she was being burped after her bottle-feedings.

The girl still didn't quite know what was happening still, but knew that this was something very awkward. After a few moments, however, she felt another expulsion of gas... and along with it, a little bit of milk came back up with it, causing her to freeze and look down as the blanket had a huge, wet stain on it now.

Relieved to see that the burping had seemed to expel the rest of the gas, Cordelia withdrew her hand. The motherly shepherd then noticed the look of shock on Severa's face, looking down at the slightly wet spot on the blanket. This wasn't too surprising, as a little came up with the burps previously as well, something Cordelia honestly should have expected. "It's okay dear, I can wash the blankets in a little bit. Not too much came back up." She assured the diapered teen, the issue of Severa's wet diaper still waiting to rear it's head. "The last thing I wanted was for you to get gas pains when you're already so uncomfortable."
