The moment she heard the noise of the door opening, the girl grabbed a blanket to cover her lower regions up while sharply cocking to the location of the sound. "Yes! Don't let her or Owain come back in!" Severa whined, waving her hand toward the door as she bundled her lower regions up as much as possible. Also noticing the emptied baby bottle, Severa painfully reached for it and shoved it underneath the sheets with her.

Cordelia was about to tuck Severa in to cover her up when the front door was opened, but it appeared the girl beat her to it. The knight couldn't help but wince slightly at the thought of how much pain the injured mercenary had put herself though in those few seconds. "I'll try my best sweetie. However, you scared Owain out of here when he was just in his underwear, so he may need to come in here and get some clothes. You just relax and maybe try to get some rest; I'll talk to Lissa about taking you home." She explained before leaning down and giving her daughter a kiss on the forehead. "Just call for me if you want or need anything at all."

And with that, the crimson-haired woman stood up and walked out the bedroom door, gently closing it behind her. Hearing voices in the living room, she assumed that was Alissa's current location. Walking down the hallway, she entered the living room.

Severa groaned at this notion, figuring that Owain would have to step back into his own room, at some point. To ensure that he didn't see her, she slung a blanket over body and lied down with a series of crinkles, the noises stopping when she was perfectly still.

Just as expected, Lissa and Owain were sitting in the living room. The most notable change was that Owain was wearing a towel over his underwear, likely the only decent, quick thing that could cover up his boxers to the public.

As he noticed Cordelia step back in, he blushed and looked at the television screen. Lissa, however, stood up and greeted the woman. "Oh hey! Sorry for being good for so long; had to make sure Owain was alright. So is Severa still doing okay?"

The tall woman chuckled at the scene before her; Owain shirtless and trying to relax in his seat while Morgan still laid sprawled out on the couch, asleep again. "Well other than being...you know, Severa, she's showing some good signs if improvement. Though that 'issue' I talked with you about doesn't seem to be healing along with the rest of her..." She explained to her fellow shepherd, referencing her daughter's sudden incontinence. "While she's still sore and it's a struggle for her to move, I'd say Severa isn't in a critical condition anymore; thanks to you." Cordelia said, smiling at the perky blonde.

"And...well, that brings me to what I wanted to ask you. How soon do you think I'll be able to take her home? I very much appreciate that you let me stay here with Severa while she was in critical condition, but I don't want to keep being a bother to you and your family; and I'm sure Owain would be eager to have his room back..."

"Eh, no need to thank me. Anything to help a sister in arms," Lissa replied happily with a smile, the subject of the girl's condition then being brought up. "Oh stop! You and her are welcome to stay as long as you like."

With this, Owain raised his head up with an almost bewildered look on his face, unable to bare the thought of having Severa intrude on his private quarters any further... or just having her or Cordelia be in this house any longer after the torment he had been through over the last two days. Lissa, however, noticed this and shot him a death glare, causing him to look back down and blush. The perky blonde, after this, looked back up to Cordelia. "She's obviously still very sore, but she's alive and able to do a few things on her own. That's a major improvement over what we saw yesterday. It'd be best to let her body recover on its own over the next few days or weeks, so I wouldn't think it'd be a bad idea to take her back whenever you two are both ready."

Cordelia felt very flattered; Lissa was nothing if not generous. "You've been very helpful for these last few days...Words can't describe how glad I am to have you as a friend." She started, smiling at the smaller woman. "But with Severa being...you know, Severa, I think it's in everyone's best interest if I get her back home as soon as possible.
So I was wondering...Do you think it would be safe to bring her back to my house maybe sometime tonight? Or do you think she isn't ready to be moved yet?" She asked.

Lissa smiled and nodded her head. "I think it wouldn't hurt to take her back home by tonight. Just lemme check her once or twice in the next few hours before you both head out. But before we were to do that..." Lissa again turned to Owain, her look much less hostile than before. "Owain, sweetie, maybe you should put some clothes on and come back here. Just knock on the door and try to make it quick; a lady doesn't like being walked in on."

Owain, upon hearing that and being reminded, sighed and stood up with the towel still wrapped around his lower regions. "I wouldn't doubt it..." He replied, walking to his room and promptly knocking on the door.

From the other side with the noises coming from the living room, Severa knew the boy was coming back into his room. Very fortunately for her, she lied completely motionless, the babyish undergarment hidden under the covers along with the baby bottle she had been embarrassingly drinking from just moments earlier.
"Make it quick or I'll snap your neck like a forest twig," Severa said without any sense of hesitation or falseness in her voice.

This prompted Owain to quickly run inside his room and make quick work of changing, noticing that Severa was under the covers and likely unable to see. After slipping on a t-shirt and pair of loose-fitting house shorts, Owain rushed out of the room and closed the door, then going to the vacated couch at the corner of the living room. Lissa giggled.

Not being able to help a small giggle herself from the young man's comical misfortune, Cordelia continued to chat with her friend as Alissa's son went to his room. "So, after Owain's done getting dressed, would you mind giving her a quick check-up? I'm sure the news that she's going home will help her tremendously; but I don't want to promise anything unless I'm sure moving her won't do more harm than good." She explained, hearing faint words between her child and Lissa's. The longer they stayed here, the more likely her daughter was to seriously injure Owain; especially if he saw her diapers again.
Soon relieved to see the boy returning, the redhead turned back to Lissa. "I also want to wash his sheets and tidy up his room a little before we leave; I still feel a little guilty for taking his room from him."

"No problem," Lissa replied, smiling and walking back to the room before promptly knocking on the door.

From the other side, Severa groaned underneath the sheets. "Who is it?" She asked in an annoyed tone, keeping the sheets over her.

"It's just your mother and I, Severa. I just wanted to check up on you really quick," Lissa asked, hoping the girl would be compliant.

"...fine, come in," Severa replied, though keeping the sheets over her body as the two women entered. Noticing this, Lissa couldn't help but crack a small smile. "She's a shy little one, isn't she?" Lissa whispered to Cordelia in a tone too quiet for Severa to understand, poking a bit of fun at the girl's undergarments, though nothing out of spite or cruelty.

The older shepherd kept her giggle muffled under her hand, not wanting Severa to piece together what they were talking about. "She certainly is..." Cordelia replied equally as quietly before walking back over to her child's bedside. "No need to be embarrassed dear; it's just me and Lissa. She just wants to give you a quick check up to make sure you're fit to head home, okay? Can you come out for me?" Though not necessarily intentionally, the motherly knight's tone of voice could easily mistaken for one one would use with a small child.
