"It's... it was... yeah. Just a bad dream is all. I'll be fine," Severa replied, trying to keep herself composed as the sensation and smell of her dirty diaper surprisingly hadn't hit her nostrils just yet.

[Diapee Girl]

The motherly woman nodded as Severa confirmed her suspicion. "Okay then sweetie." She replied really smelling her child's soiled diaper from here. Did she really not notice? "...Do you want to talk about it?" She offered. Cordelia knew what her answer would likely be, but she still wanted to give Severa the option just in case it really was bothering her. Besides, she was still trying to work out the best way to break it to her that she needed her diaper changed.

"N-no... there's nothing to really talk about..." Severa replied, not wanting to budge with her stubborn sense of pride. "Just... let me go back to sleep. You should do the same. It's pretty late, after all..."

[Diapee Girl]

The crimson-haired woman sighed softly. She could tell there was something Severa wasn't telling her, but there was no point in trying to get the stubborn teen to talk if she didn't want to. "If you say so dear..." She replied, patting her on the back assuringly before sitting back a little. "Just let me get you changed real quick." Cordelia added, hoping her daughter would still be too groggy to put up much of a fight about it.

"W...what?" The girl groggily replied, still too tired to register what the woman meant and still somehow not realizing the stench. A good reason why she probably didn't smell anything was that she was well accustomed to getting dirty and smelling awful on the battlefield, so whatever stench she carried didn't affect her.

[Diapee Girl]

"Shh...Shh; don't worry about it honey..." Cordelia cooed soothingly as she positioned Severa back down on her bed, hoping to lull her as close to sleep as possible so she could change her diaper without a hassle or riling up the girl. "Just relax and go back to sleep. I'll take care if everything, I promise..." She said, gently running her fingers through Severa's hair before slowly pulling down the covers to reveal the teen's discolored diaper.

All the changing materials still in Severa's room from when she changed her before bed, the woman moved to the foot of the bed and leaned forward to open the tapes of the babyish garment.

"No... I don't need it..." Severa moaned, trying to sit herself back up though having little success. Her body was aching, her eyes heavy and her mind groggy from her fatigue and the feeling of being woken up at 3 in the morning. She still didn't want to have her diaper changed, though, as if she still thought she didn't need it.

[Diapee Girl]

Cordelia softly placed a hand on Severa's arm to prevent her from fully rising, not that she really needed to do much anyway. It was more than obvious the teen's body was begging for sleep; all she needed was a little extra help to unwind. "Just focus on the sound of my voice, okay sweetie? Just listen..." She cooed soothingly, thinking back to the lullaby she heard Cynthia sing to baby Lucina whenever she had trouble going to sleep. Naturally, she wasn't about to sing the lyrics, as that would only get Severa more embarassed and riled up. So, instead, she began to soothingly hum the tune of 'Lullaby and goodnight', opening up the tapes of the diaper as quietly as she could before proceeding with the changing.

Severa, now noting how helpless she was during this, just gave up trying to fight it. She just laid back, resting her arms as her mother got to work changing her apparently-dirty diaper, much to her dismay. Instead of moan and gripe, however, she pitifully whined and whimpered a bit, unable to really control it or have enough sense to put on a facade for the woman in her half-conscious, dizzy state.

As the smell of her daughter's mess intensified a little, the pegasus knight knew that the cleaning-up section of the diaper change would definitely be the most uncomfortable for Severa. But nonetheless, she continued with the lullaby, soon getting her bottom clean and removing the soiled garment from underneath her. Balling the diaper up masked the stink a fair amount, Cordelia tossing it into the trash immdiately afterward. Hopefully it would be more pleasant from here.

Sliding a new diaper under the whining redhead's rear, Cordelia soon had the shaker of baby powder in her hand, dusting child's diaper-area with a liberal amount of the substance. With that, the odor of the soiled padding from a few moments ago was replaced by the sweet, relaxing scent of the talcum.
