Severa didn't catch on to the intention of the woman's sudden act of inhaling and exhaling, only thinking that she was relieved that a confrontation was avoided. To be fair, however, Severa was a bit wet, though the pain in her lower legs prevented her from realizing it.
"Suuuure..." Severa replied without enthusiasm, choosing to look away from the woman once again with her arms crossed and her cheeks flaring up in a bright-red blush. A part of what caused the girl to blush was the sudden rumbling in her stomach that caused the girl to try and play it off as nothing.

The older redhead couldn't resist a smile. Severa was always so cute when she was pouting. "I mean it darling, whether you acknowledge it or not." She replied simply, gently patting The diapered girl on the shoulder before standing up off the bed again. "Now, how does some breakfast sound? Tell you what; since it's your first morning back home, you get to pick what I make; anything you want. Maybe a some pancakes? Bacon and eggs? It's up to you sweetie." Cordelia explained, hoping to improve Severa's mood a little.

Severa decided to drop the awkward conversation, sighing but still looking away as her woman patted her shoulder and stood up. "Well... I guess I could go for some pancakes..." Severa replied, her tone much more relaxed than the angered frenzy she was in earlier.

Cordelia chuckled. "Alright then, pancakes it is. I'll get started on them right away." She replied, smiling down at her daughter. It was nice to see that the tension in the room had gone down. "Want to stay in bed, or join me in the kitchen?" The knight offered, curious to see whether or not Severa was feeling stir-crazy being confined to her bed.

"Hm... I guess... going to the kitchen wouldn't hurt... better than staring at the ceiling of my room all day..." Severa replied, her blush still present as she figured that she could perhaps bare being picked up and cradled for a few moments to have the opportunity to at the very least be going different places in the house.

While she tried not to show it too much, the crimson-haired woman was hoping she would pick this option. "Of course dear." Her mother said, moving the covers off of Severa and sliding both her arms underneath the teen. "Now then, upsie-daisy..." With that, Cordelia lifted her off the matress and into her arms, Severa still dressed in just her shirt and diaper (which definitely looked like it would need to be changed sometime in the near future).
"I'll be right by you in the kitchen." She explained, carrying her daughter out of her room and towards the living room. The two rooms were separated by an archway, rather than a wall, so they were practically a single room. Once they arrived, Cordelia gently laid the girl down on the couch, handing her the television remote. "Feel free to watch some TV while I'm getting the pancakes ready. Just let me know if you need anything while you wait."

Once Severa was picked up, she looked down to the diaper for a brief instance, then looking away due to her own embarrassment. This, coupled with her being cradled in the woman's arms once again, caused that blush to intensify as she continued to pout in a cutely unintentional way.

Once the remote was given to her, the girl sighed and clicked the television on. "Alright, thanks," Severa said tiredly and a bit emptily, flipping to a loud sports competition.

Cordelia glanced up for a moment from the kitchen counter as the sound of horse-racing filled the living room. Glad that Severa was preoccupied for the moment, the woman hummed a little time to herself as she prepared their meal. After about ten minutes, the first batch was almost done. "Want anything on top sweetie?" She offered, flipping a pancake and moving a finished one over to the plate of hot flapjacks.

Severa was actually getting rather invested into the programming, cheering for a particular black horse as ebony was her favorite color (with not much other reasoning aside from that). When her mother snapped her back to reality, however, she blushed and looked up. "Um... some... syrup, I guess..." Severa responded, then going back to watching the program now in silence, though still rooting for that particular horse but with much more restraint.

"Alright, syrup it is." Her mother replied back in acknowledgement, retrieving the bottle of maple syrup from their pantry as the steamy pancakes cooled.
'Hmm...That should be enough.' Cordelia thought to herself, thinking of the young mercenary's ravenous appetite as she looked over the impressive stack of pancakes on the serving plate. She hoped this would be enough to fill Severa up; the stubborn child hadn't eaten too much the day before due to her reluctance to be fed. Hopefully being in the privacy of their own home would help ease some of the embarassment for her.

"Breakfast is ready dear." The woman soon annouced, setting the table and walking over to the couch where the diapered teen was currently lounging, watching the horse races intently. "Got a favorite picked to win sweetie?" She asked warmly, gently bending down and picking her up.
