Severa knew that if she persisted, she'd be starting up an argument that she knew she couldn't possibly win. As much convincing as she could give to the woman, there was no way she could win this fight. So, in defeat, the girl sighed herself and crossed her arms, her cheeks rosy-red and puffed out. "Fine..." She replied, not sounding happy about it.

The motherly knight just smiled to herself, moving the fork up back to be girl's lips. "Thanks for understanding dear. It'll be just like yesterday. Just focus on the food and I'm sure youMll forget all about it." She said back warmly, ready to feed Severa whenever she opened her mouth. "Let me know if you want to stop and take a drink."

Severa complied, opening her mouth to allow access for the fork to enter with some delicious, syrupy pancakes at the end. Upon seeing the tasty treat, the girl's attention was brought back to the food, her eyes now on the fork as it made its way into her mouth. Upon closing her lips and giving a moment for her mother to take the fork out, the girl slowly started to bite down, her expression now pleased. After swallowing and letting out an audible "mmm~" from under her lips, the girl opened back up, this time smiling a little.

Cordelia resisted a giggle from how cute Severa looked. "Good. See, that wasn't so bad, was it?" She said with a grin, getting another bite ready for the diapered girl and moving it into her mouth.
She continued to feed her the pancakes, bite by bite. Occasionally, she stopped to get a few pieces for herself, but her main intention was on feeding her daughter. The woman even began to have a little fun with it, playfully teasing Severa by doing things like pulling the fork away a little bit when tinware about to reach her open mouth, or pretending like she was going to put Severa's bite in her own mouth before giggling and moving it back towards the teen.

"Mom, cut it out! Gawds, I'm starving over here..." Severa whined, wanting to seem annoyed but not doing a good-enough job considering that a smile found its way on her face every once in a while.

By now, the crimson-haired woman couldn't resist a chuckle at her daughter's reaction. "If you insist sweetie. Now, open up the stable, here comes the horsie, neigh!" She teased warmly, moving another bite up to Severa's lips so she could wrap her lips around it. The two of them were making pretty good progress on the pancakes.

"Wait!" Severa replied, her cheeks a mad shade of red as she stopped Cordelia dead in her tracks. It seemed that she stopped her due to the extremely childish way that she was speaking to her (and in some respects, this was true), but she spoke again after a moment:
"...I'm thirsty. Can I just have a sec to drink?" She asked, her mouth still full of pancakes before eventually swallowing.

Cordelia blinked in surprise, wondering if she had overstepped her bounds with her teasing. However, once she had explained herself, her mother nodded in understanding. "Of course dear." She replied, moving the fork back and observing, wondering how exactly Severa would handle this.

The girl took a few deep breaths, now lifting her arm up. It was relatively shaky, and she was indeed in pain, but it wasn't quite as jarring as yesterday... though enough to be noticed through the shaking the the quiet whining under her breath. Upon reaching the glass, the girl slowly brought it up and to her lips, managing to support it long enough to chug down half of the glass before practically slamming it back onto the table. Wanting to play off the pain and the slight mess on the collar of her shirt, Severa wiped her lips on her shoulder and then turned back to the woman. "So... better now?"

As much as she had hoped to play it off, Severa wasn't fooling anyone; especially not her mother. Looking at how shaky and clearly miserable she had been properly lifting the cup, it was clear that her arms were still a good ways away from being healed properly.

So, with an assuring look and a gentle pat on the shoulder being her answer to Severa's question, she took the cup and stood up, carrying it into the kitchen. It wasn't long before the remaining milk was poured in a baby bottle, Cordelia topping it off with a bit more from the fridge until it was full. "I'm sorry sweetie..." She said, carrying the bottle back to the table with her and setting it down. At this point, she knew there was likely going to be some protests coming.
