Severa just nodded and sighed, slowly slouching down into the tub and sitting for a few more minutes in silence, still a bit embarrassed that she had been holding the woman's hand the entire time. After this period had ended, the girl opened her eyes and turned back to her mother. "Okay, I'm ready."

While the teenager sat in the bathtub for another few minutes, her mother got some towels ready for her. As Severa had long hair like herself, it usually took an extra towel to dry.
When the aforementioned girl made it known that she wanted out of the water, Cordelia smiled and nodded to her, reaching down into the foamy water and pulling out the stopper at the bottom. Once the water had mostly drained, the knight wrapped her daughter up in a fluffy pink towel and gingerly lifted her out of the tub and into her arms. It was apparent that Severa would again not be drying herself.

Severa just laid limp while being carried in the woman's arms, no more signs of struggle. It was obvious that she was now at the very least accepting of the fact that she needed to have certain things tended to her by her mother due to her inability to do them herself from her injuries sustained a few days ago.

While she was admittedly glad Severa wasn't wriggling around and causing issues while she was being carried, the woman at least hoped to make the girl feel a little better than angrily dismissive of it. Regardless, Cordelia made short work of sitting down on the toilet lid and setting her wet daughter down on her lap. Considering her position in the knight's lap, a few portions of the drying-off process probably felt more like cuddles and hugs to Severa as her mother worked to get her completely dry

"Ngh... Moooom... do you have to be this thorough?" Severa whined, sitting still during the drying-off process but managing to whine during it. It probably wouldn't change anything, but it was never unlike Severa to not voice her concern when she didn't like something.

"Would you rather be damp all over dear?" Cordelia replied simply, currently rubbing the towel down the teen's legs and feet to collect the water clinging to her skin. She was glad Severa was at least sitting still for her, the mercenary wriggling around would have been a big annoyance in trying to dry her off. It seemed as though her child had at least somewhat come to terms with the fact that she needed to be helped in some situations right now.

After Severa's body was dry, her mother repostitioned her in her lap and used the second towel to dry off her soaking wet hair a little. However, with how long her hair was, it would take forever manually.
So, reaching over to the bathroom counter and pulling off her hairdryer and a hairbrush, she plugged it in the nearby power outlet and turned it on, directing the gust of warm air towards Severa's crimson locks and using the hairbrush with her other hand to gently comb down her her hair as the water left it. After a minute or so, she set the hairdryer off to the side and focused exclusively on running the bristles of the brush through Severa's locks, actually starting to hum a soft tune without really thinking about it.

"No..." Severa pouted, puffing out her cheeks as she remained still while the woman's hands brushed against every area of her skin with the towel. She then closed her eyes as the blow dryer was turned on and gushing warm air at her. Once it was turned off, the blushing girl looked away, but blinking as she heard the woman humming such a melody without even realizing it. She wanted to say something, but she figured that this was a thing that she just did in her own time after hopping out of the shower herself. Therefore, Severa just sat quietly.

The pegasus knight continued to hum to herself as the brush gradually made Severa's hair look prettier and prettier with every motion. As she too had long hair that often took a little while to manage and brush after bathing, it had become a habit of Cordelia's to hum some sort of tune whirl she brushed her hair. She had just never really had the chance to do it for her daughter too often. After drying her hair, the teen usually just pulled tied hair up into her usual ponytails as soon as it wasn't too wet anymore. Hopefully this would make her hair look a little better...

After she was done, Cordelia set the brush down and tied up Severa's hair like she usually kept it. "There, that looks great." She remarked with a smile, standing up and keeping Severa wrapped up in her towel as she walked out of the bedroom. "Now let's get some clothes on you, and then I'll move the T.V. Does that sound good dear?".

Severa sighed as she waited for her hair to be brushed and her ponytails to be tied up. As she was now lifted back up and carried out of the bathroom, she looked to her hair as they passed the mirror, noting that it looked exactly the way she would do it herself...

"Yeah, sounds alright, I guess..." Severa replied with little enthusiasm, as expected. She was more used to this now, but that alone didn't mean she had to show that she particularly cared for it.

Cradling the nearly-naked teen in her arms in a way that was quickly becoming pretty standard at this point, the woman made her way down the hallway and back into Severa's room. "I was thinking I'd set it up on top of your dresser over there. You don't really have anything on it, so it should fit nicely." Cordelia said simply, laying her child down on the bed and unwrapping her towel, leaving her naked as she retrieved a fresh diaper and the shaker of baby powder. Just like carrying Severa around, it seemed as though the motherly shepherd had essentially gotten used to diapering the small mercenary, casually talking about what channels Severa could watch of she wanted to as she powdered her bottom and snugly taped up the thick diaper; as if it wasn't out of the ordinary at all that she was pampering a teenaged girl.
