Severa tried to keep the thoughts of what her mother would be doing now out of her head, but how could she possibly do so? She was a very open, very friendly person with connections all across the city. She could hold a conversation with nearly anyone, and of course brought multiple facets of her own personal life into discussion, including the girl herself. So would mentioning her current dependency for diapers be out of the questions? And with all of these subliminal babyish things popping up in her mind, those few select words the woman ended up using... what exactly WAS she going to buy?

Trying her best not to think about it, the crippled Severa remained slumped backward and watched the horse races, silently rooting for the black horse once again.

Cordelia's first stop was Ricken's pharmacy. The science-loving mage had done quite well for himself after the war with Grima had ended, using all the knowledge and data he had gathered throughout their various journeys to apply it to chemicals and medicines. For such a young man, he had definitely made a lot for himself in such a short time; though she honestly couldn't help but suspect that the reason he had discovered so many medicines was because he was looking for one to make him taller...

Walking into the store, the woman glanced around, the store mainly empty at this time of day. She couldn't see Ricken anywhere...But it was very possible that he was just behind a counter or shelf... "Ricken?" She asked, looking around for the young man.

The clanking of glasses, the transfer of liquids, and the bubbling of more potential ones could be heard from an opened door past the counter, a few lights illuminating the figure of a shadow that jumped upon hearing a voice call out a name. Within about a moment or two, the aforementioned boy walked out, and... he was a little taller. Though still not close to being near Cordelia's height.

Upon seeing the woman, the boy smiled and walked to the front counter. "Oh hey there, Cordelia! It's good to see you!" The boy chimed, adjusting his crooked hat and smiling. "So, um... what brings you here? You been doing okay?"

"Ah, Ricken, I was hoping to see you." The female knight kindly replied to her brother in arms, smiling down at him and following the young man to the front desk of his store. "You look like you've grown a few inches since the last time I saw you."

Once they reached the front, she continued. "Anyway, yeah, I'm fine, just a little stressed lately. But I'm here to ask if you could point me to any pain medication you have here, preferably something strong. Severa got bucked off a flying pegasus a few days ago, and had a pretty nasty fall...She's okay though, Lissa got her all patched up and out of any real danger. But now that she's healing up, she's in a lot of pain." Cordelia explained, leaving out the teen's incontinence.

"Yeah! I've been trying out a few different spells and medicines and I've found some that are doing the trick. It's been... sort of slow growth, but it's noticeable, so there's a start!" Ricken replied with a smile, then listening to what the woman needed. Ricken was a really nice boy, wanting to help out all of his comrades with a warm smile on his face. This, of course, made him an easy target for Severa, who occasionally called him a dork and a dweeb. It sort of ticked him off, but he at the very least understood that that's how she was. As well, he also knew that she genuinely cared for her fellow comrades, a care she showed on the battlefield.

"Oh jeez, I heard about that! That was her? I'm so sorry..." Ricken replied, frowning with a very sincere, worried tone in his voice. "But that's good to know she's okay, at least. I can definitely hook you up with some pain medication. I have many kinds varying in effectiveness and strength. Just let me know what kind you need exactly and it's yours."

Cordelia couldn't help a smile at the concern the young man showed, even for the girl that regularly bullied him when they were all fighting in wars. Ricken really was a kind person. "Thank you, I really do appreciate it...But I'm not really familiar with a lot of kinds of medicine, in all honesty..." She admitted with an embarrassed chuckle. "Could you just point me to the aisle where you have your painkillers stocked? I'll pick one out from there."

"No problem. Just follow me and I'll show you," Ricken replied, making his way out from behind the counter and guiding the woman to the aisle, then stopping at a few shelves which contained multiple pill bottles all labeled as painkillers. "Here are some... the ones labeled with the store name were ones that I made. I tested them out and they work great, plus they're cheaper..." Ricken stated.

"Oh? If that's the case, I appreciate the tip." The crimson-haired woman replied with a smile, picking up a bottle of the pills. It looked as though these particular tablets needed to be dissolved in a drink to work properly, but if they worked well, it didn't seem like a deal-breaker for Cordelia. "Okay, these should work fine. So, I guess I'll just pay for these and-" she began, stopping herself when she noticed the sign above the next aisle over, which read 'Feminine hormone supplements'. "Um...Ricken; what are those?" She asked, pointing to the other arrangement of pills.

Ricken smiled and nodded his head, ready to go back to the counter with the woman seemingly making up her mind with this being all that she needed. However, upon her pausing mid-sentence and mid-step, Ricken paused, too. Looking up to the sign, he then turned back to the woman. "Oh, those? Those are just supplements used to help women produce hormones that their body is unable to anymore. Usually it's for women to combat aging and build muscle, but even some young, pregnant women come in from time to time if they have their own issues leading up to their kids' birth. There's also a lot of babies who were orphaned, so some women actually came in to get those supplements to help with breastfeeding... or other stuff, I guess..." Ricken replied, blushing a little at the thought. It was just a boy thing.

Cordelia's cheeks urned a bit flushed as well, but she couldn't stop herself from walking over tithe isle and examining the cases of pills. These increased breast size? How had she never heard about this kind of drug before? The pegasus knight has always been somewhat self-conscious about the size of her chest, which was practically flat as a washboard when compared to other Shepherds like Sumia. While in reality, Cordelia was maybe a little below average, it still bothered her.

"Um...Ricken? How much are these? I, uh, have a new recruit in my squad who's wife is having issues feeding their new baby, and I think these could really help." She asked, going with the first lie that came to mind and taking a hormone package off the shelf that seemed to be focused on breast size and lactation. Sumia's chest went up at least one size when she gave birth to Lucina, maybe this would help?
