Ricken didn't even bat an eye at this as he listened to the woman, believing the small lie given how trusting she was. "Oh, well for that package, it'll be $50. There are 24 of them in that packet, and since it's to last a full year, your friend's wife would only have to take two a month. Works pretty fast, too."

[Diapee Girl]

Cordelia had to mask her excitement upon hearing that. "That sounds great. I'll be sure to let them know." She replied with a smile, walking back up to the counter with her fellow shepherd and setting the two pill bottles down. "Alright, I think that's everything I need. Thanks again for all your help Ricken."

[thelonegrunt]

"No problem at all," Ricken said with a soft smile on his face, ringing up the two pill bottles and handing the woman's receipt and purchased items in a bag. "It might not mean much... but tell Severa I wish her the best."

[Diapee Girl]

"Yeah...I will. Have a good afternoon." The pegasus knight said with a smile, the young man's politeness always cheering her up. She would haves stayed and chatted a bit more, but more customers were walking in, and Cordelia could tell Ricken was going to be busy.

"Alright, so that's the pain meds off the list..." She whispered to herself as she walked through the market. Now the other major items on her list were diapers, a bib, baby wipes, and some non-solid food. As she didn't know of any other stores owned by people she and Severa knew, Cordelia headed first to the 'baby' store, now strangely used to the odd place as she walked inside and headed towards the teen-sized section of the diaper isle. "Okay, one more pack. Actually, at the rate she's using diapers, maybe it's safer to grab two..." The woman mumbled as she picked up two of the packs of babyish garments. Diapers: Check.

Now they had to have some bibs around here. Sure enough, she found a wall of them in various sizes. Instead of just picking one though, Cordelia actually looked around for the least babyish one in her daughter's size, knowing full well that Severa would not be wearing any of the more infantile ones willingly. However, it didn't look like there were any that weren't cutesy...until she saw that the packs of them had multiple designs inside. One of the packs just had a plain white bib, between a yellow one with the words 'Baby Girl' decorating it, and a pink one that was covered in cute little cartoon pigs that read 'Mommy's little piggy'. Cordelia got the sense that those two wouldn't be used, but it contained one that she thought the teenager would be moderately okay with, so she caved and bought the threepack. Bib: Check.

The baby wipes were pretty easy to find as well, close by where she kicked up the diapers. Fortunately there weren't many kinds to try and decide from, so she just picked out two tubs of the wipes and added them to her cart. Wipes: Check.

Now all that was left was the Non-soild food. The issue was that (non-surprisingly), all that they had here was clearly marked as 'baby food'. Severa would *not* take kindly to that, so she just picked up a little jar of Apple-sauce and decided to come back later if she was desperate. So, after leaving the baby store, she began the trip home.

Severa, meanwhile, was still at home, the horse races having ended which caused her to flick between channels. She'd occasionally grow disinterested with one, only to flick to another and get bored after a minute or so before changing it again. By this point, the disgruntled teem forgot about the thoughts that immediately plagued her after Cordelia left. Though, strangely enough, she felt a lot more bored without her being here than with her. As embarrassing as this was to her and as much as she feigned not liking opening up and talking to her, they played off of each other's words. Even with the television on, Severa felt it was quiet... and, deep down inside, something else she wasn't willing to admit...

[Diapee Girl]

Her arms filled with grocery bags, the young woman eventually managed to fit her way through the door of her home. She normally would have shouted out to announce that she was back, but there was a chance that Severa had fallen asleep while she was out. So, setting the bags down on the kitchen table, she quietly made her way back to Severa's room.

"I'm back dear." Cordelia said, finding the padded teenager still awake in her bed, walking over to her and smiling warmly. "Is everything okay?"

Severa tilted her head back to the door, watching it open and noticing the woman come back empty-handed. "Yeah, I'm alright... so... did you, like, just go on a walk or something?"

[Diapee Girl]

Cordelia laughed, sitting down at the foot of the bed. "Yeah, I just went for an hour-long jog. I happened to find a bunch of grocery bags filled with stuff along the way though, so I decided to take them home with me." She teased, glad to hear that there hadn't been any issues while she was gone. "All of it is in the kitchen."

"Hardy har har," Severa groaned, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms. After Cordelia told her where the items were, she turned back to her. "So what'd you get? Anything for dinner?"

[Diapee Girl]

"Just some general groceries, and some pain meds for you." Cordelia half-lied, figuring that it was smarter to leave out the changing supplies and bibs she had bought for her, as well as the supplements she had bought to try out herself. "As for dinner, I was thinking, to celebrate our first night home, that I would cook you a nice, juicy steak for dinner. How does that sound sweetie?" She continued, hoping the news of some delicous beef later on, even if it had to be fed to her, would help perk up Severa a little.
