Severa had a feeling that she had also bought diapers, too, lying about that part... but thinking about it, there was no possible way she could have bought anything more than that, so she dropped that thought. Upon mentioning steak, however, the girl's eyes widened. "Oh... that sounds... really good, actually..." Severa replied with a twinge of happiness in her voice.

The girl's mother smiled to herself when she was able to make out the slightest bit of excitement in Severa's voice. "I thought it might..." She replied warmly, gently patting Severa's arm. "But before I get started on that, I think it would be wise for you to take a dosage of the pain medicine so the effects can start to kick in soon."

[thelonegrunt]

"Um... alright, I guess..." Severa said, not wanting to refuse the offer just for the sake of being stubborn or starting the argument. "They're... the pills, right? I don't want to drink any nasty potion or whatever..."

[Diapee Girl]

"Um, they are pills...But they have to be dissolved in water. The box said it should be tasteless though, so don't worry about it." Cordelia answered, standing up of the bed and heading towards the door. "I'll go get it ready for you. Be right back." She promised before walking out of Severa's bedroom, heading to the kitchen.

From there, she went to prepare another baby bottle for her daughter, dropping the pills inside the water and watching them dissolve as she stirred them in. The news of having to drink from another bottle probably wouldn't thrill Severa, but hopefully she'd be okay with it if it took the edge off of her pain.

The motherly knight returned shortly thereafter, sitting down beside the teen on the bed with a baby bottle of water clearly visible in her hand.

Severa raised an eyebrow as the woman left the room... but upon seeing her return with a baby bottle in hand, she audibly groaned. "Ugh, mooooooom... you really can't just go and get a glass?"

[Diapee Girl]

"Severa, we've talked about this." Cordelia replied with a sigh, knowing it was too much to ask for the teen to avoid complaining about something. "You can't properly hold glasses right now, and it's better for you to avoid making uneccescary movements anyway. This is just what you need right now." She tried to reason with her. Even after these last few days of being bottlefed, the bratty redhead was still complaining about it. "Just fight through it like before, and I promise you'll feel better afterwards, okay?"

Severa continued to mumble, pout and whine, wanting to find a way to get out of drinking from a bottle every time but knowing it couldn't be done, even though she hoped for it. "...can't you just... like... hold the glass for me? I'd rather do that then drink from a bottle like a stupid baby every time I'm thirsty..."

[Diapee Girl]

"Dear, you and I both know that if we did that, a good portion of the water would end up over you and your bed." Her mother replied, gently resting a hand on the little mercenary's shoulder. "I know this is awkward and uncomfortable for you right now, but I promise you it really is for the best sweetie. I've said it before, but this just really is what you need right now. In fact, if you want to heal fast, these things will help your body do that without you stressing yourself."

Severa moaned and mumbled incoherent nonsense, it being the only thing she could do in her frustration. She really did sound like a fussy little girl whenever she did this, her mannerisms coming off as extremely childish and even a little bit cute to the woman... and the cutesy diaper she was wearing underneath her thick skirt didn't make things any better. "Alright, fine... make it quick..."

As this would probably be something that Severa would have to do for a little while, Cordelia seriously hoped that the stubborn teenager would at least somewhat get used to being bottle-fed. Then again, hoping for that was probably about as futile as hoping Chrom had some long-lost identical twin brother who was into redheads...But regardless, she had Severa's blessing now, and that would get the painkillers into her system.
So, staying beside her child on the bed, the woman picked up the bottle with her other hand and eased it towards Severa's mouth, the nipple now gently brushing against her lips. Her mother hand was kept assuringly on her daughter's shoulder.
