The girl blinked and watched as the woman scooped up some bubbles and returned them back to her. Now, Severa lightly giggled, not expecting this, along with having the suds be somewhat ticklish. "Hey! Now you're gonna get it!" Severa replied, accepting the challenge by repeating back what the woman had just done, only with more bubbles.

By this point, Cordelia's playful smirk had turned into a big grin as the bubble warfare escalated. "Oh, you asked for it now cutie-pie!" She teased back, dodging most of the bubbles Severa sent at her and scooping up some more of her own in each hand. However, instead of simply blowing it all in one burst, she sent one handful at her, than quickly blew the other as well right after it.

Severa was actually laughing giddily as she exchanged bubble warfare with the woman, finding something strangely calming yet entertaining about it. Even if it was a tad infantile, there was some odd charm to it. So she kept on until she figured out that there wasn't a way for her to win. "Okay, okay! You got me..." She replied, calming down a bit as she removed the bubbles from her face, a small smile still formed.

Cordelia chuckled at this, wiping the remaining bubbles off her face as well. "Let's call it a truce then." She replied, reaching over and patting Severa on the top of her head. She had actually had a pretty good time playing with her like this; maybe this could become a more common occurrence if the little mercenary enjoyed it so much...
"So, how about you just sit back and relax and let Mama get you nice and clean..." The woman continued warmly, getting a damp washcloth nice and soapy before beginning to wash her legs.

Severa simple nodded, doing as instructed and lying back as she felt the damp, soapy washcloth rub against her legs. With this, she closed her eyes, allowing the suds and the sensation of the warm water to bring her into a small state of bliss.

The pegasus knight didn't say a word as she softly scrubbed her daughter down, just allowing herself a small grin at how nice and relaxed the girl looked. Normally she would have given her feet a little tickle when she got down there, but this time Cordelia didn't want to do anything that would disturb her too much. With that said, she made short work of cleaning the rest of her off; the woman was careful to make sure that she was extra gentle when she eventually reached Severa's diaper-area.

Once she was fully washed, Cordelia leaned in and gave the teen a little kiss on the top of the head to rouse her from any sort of daze she had slipped into from relaxation. "Alright sweetie, I'm about to have to get your hair wet. Can you close your eyes and hold your breath for me?"

Severa just remained still as she closed her eyes during the process, enjoying the woman's delicate touch and movements along with the soft washcloth and soothing bubbles alleviating her skin. She was aware of it, though, not delving into that state of subconscious bliss she went into whenever she drank from a bottle which caused her to speak in an almost infant-like way and giggle and coo like a small child.

The girl opened her eyes from the peck, looking back up to the woman. "O-oh? Oh, yeah sure..." Severa replied, closing her eyes and mouth while stopping her breathing for a few moments.

"Thank you dear." Cordelia replied, getting a cup full of the bathwater and proceeding to slowly pour it down over Severa's head to get her hair wet. Once her long, crimson locks were suffciently damp, the woman grabbed the shampoo bottle and squirted some of the substance into her hand. "You can open your eyes now honey, just try not to get any shampoo in them." She sweetly spoke again, moving her hands to Severa's scalp and beginning to gently massage in the soap to the point where it began to grow white and foamy.

Severa opened them, her sopping wet hair clinging against her head, some of which being in her face. She wanted to move them with her fingertips, but she didn't want to disturb her mother as she was washing her hair. Plus... she was so relaxed with her body under the warm, soapy water that she really didn't want to move her arms out! So, she settled for crossing her eyes to focus on the strands of her, now positioning her lips up as she tried to blow the wet locks out of her face, completely unsuccessful but doing a good job of making her look cute once again.

Covering her mouth for a moment to muffle a giggle at how adorable the wet girl looked right then, Cordelia took a second to gingerly brush the stray locks of hair out of her face and work the shampoo into them as well. "Better cutie?" She teased warmly, making sure every inch of her child's long, red hair was taken care of. After these last few days of Cordelia making sure to properly wash and groom her, the tomboy's hair was looking wonderful. "You have such pretty hair darling, have I ever told you that?"
