Red Cross captured a defended pawn with her rook. Applejack made an unamused face, and captured it, thinking that it was a blunder.

Lyra looks unhappy. "Okay, how about this. We will play one simple game of blackjack and I will be the dealer."

"Whatever you want," Sunset said with a grin, proud of herself for having already won a game.

"Hold it in for however long you'd like," said Spitfire, "Spoiled and the nurses have ways of coaxing it out of us."

Red Cross, however, had lured her into a trap, sliding forward her queen to ensnare her opponent's king. "Checkmate."

Lyra reshuffled the cards. "Okay, since I am the dealer, I have a slightly greater than a half chance of winning, so hopefully, I do not have bad luck."

Lyra dealt the cards. She was disappointed to see what was dealt. Sunset Shimmer got dealt 6-3 and Lyra was dealt two other cards. The card facing up was a 7 and the card facing down will not be shown to Sunset after she makes her move. "Do you want to hit or stand?" Lyra asked Sunset.

"Hit me," Sunset said confidently, looking close to see what would be set down next.

"Applejack, my dear, you must never make assumptions about your opponent," Red Cross said with a scoff. "But you played a good game."

Sassy was starting to squirm a bit more conspicuously now.

Meanwhile, back on the mainland, Spoiled was closing in on her next target.

"Uh... thanks. No more of this game for me, though. You never win if someone is better than you at chess. Let's just go play what they are playing over there."

Spoiled walked into The Tasty Treat and took a seat without the Saffron giving her one.

"Hit me," Sunset beckoned her again.

Fortunately for Spoiled, Saffron Masala did not mind, and she approached her with a napkin, utensils, and a menu. "Good afternoon, ma'am. Can I start you with something to drink?"

Lyra was then happy to see that the next card is a 6. "Okay, you have 17. Now, what do you want to do?"

"Just a water and bread and then, I will go," Spoiled said.

Saffron was surprised. "You could easily get those at the local bakery, ma'am. Are you sure you would not like something more filling?"

The rest of them except for Sassy came. They can clearly see her struggling, clenching really hard and squirming back and forth. The pressure must be really bad for her now.

"So, while Sassy is still coming to terms with what she is doing, anyone want to play some poker?" Lyra asked.
