Robert had been having a quite stressful past few weeks. He thought he had raised his daughter pretty well for a man who'd lost his wife at birth. He'd raised her to be sweet, cheerful (albeit energetic) and polite. She'd always had very good grades and very little trouble in school...but lately, there had been a problem.
She'd started wetting herself.
It had started with bedwetting, which the doctors had assured him was a rare but not impossible occurrence at her age. He would just change her sheets whenever there was an accident, and just wait for it to stop.
But it didn't. It got worse--soon he got calls, his very embarrassed daughter telling him that she'd had an accident at school. He didn't mind. He just brought her a change of clothes, or took her home if need be.
However...it didn't stop. So, after a time, he got her some absorbent disposable underpants to help her accidents.
Now he was outside the bathroom door, while transferring her wet sheets into a laundry hamper. The man was in his mid-thirties, with dirty blonde hair and green eyes. "How long is this going to last," he mumbled bitterly to himself.

Her daughter Hannah emerges from the bathroom, a discouraged look on her face. At the age of 15 this slightly shorter than average girl with blue eyes and long brown hair, had a problem like this!

The girl slowly walked into her room to see her dad changing her sheets once again. "...Sorry daddy.." she mumbled.

Robert sighed heavily, as he watched her come in. He still had hope that she would get better, after all. "You can't help it, honey," he said, trying to reassure her as well as himself. "But you'll get better. The doctors said it was temporary, after all...you're just kinda a late bloomer." He reached out to gently ruffle the girl's hair.

Hannah smiled weakly at her dad. She didn't have as much faith as her dad did, even though, deep down, she kind of liked it. But she didn't dare tell her dad that!

Robert smiled softly, before clearing his throat. "Well, um, I did get you something. It won't really make your wetting issue go away, but it'll make it a little easier to deal with."

"Whatchu get me?" she asked, all excited now.

Robert unfortunately didn't look quite as excited as Hannah did. He bent down, taking the package of Goodnites out of the grocery bag. "Just these. They should be able to hold a bit if you have an accident during the day."

"Oh.." was all she could say, the smile she had turning into frown.

He smiled at her, pulling her close as he tried to reassure her.
