Stephen sighed as he sat up, his parents were away for the weekend, more or less leaving him alone. It didn't matter much for the teenager really. Hearing his mobile ring, listening to the soft techno trill of one of the only people he had on speed contact, his only real friend... Craig. Reaching for it as he laid on his bed, he flipped it open, answering the call as he placed it to his ear. "Hello, Craig. What's up?" Stephen asked, he didn't use mobile phones that often, and he really stayed away from the touch screen kind and the smart phones. He liked technology, don't get him wrong, he just disliked the clumsiness of a touch screen and the obsession with apps and internet. If he wanted to use the net, he'd use his computer at home.

This young high-schooler, Stephen, was around the same age of 15 that the lad on the other end was; Craig. Craig was somewhat different than the other boy, mainly considering the people that he associated himself with were among some of the foulest little kids at their high school. However... it seemed that Craig had grown a fond liking to Stephen, something he could not quite say to anyone else... not even Stephen himself.

"Eyyo, Stephen! Not much, dude; just bored as hell right now. My parents are out of town this weekend; gonna go see relatives or something, I could care less. Hey, you wanna hang out later on?" Craig asked, sounding relatively generous with the offer.

"I'm willing to come over now. My parents are out as well. Got nothing really to do" Stephen said, rolling over on his bed to look towards the window. "I'll be over soon if you want... remind me where you live again?" Stephen asked, rubbing his neck. He was rather forgetful at times as he got up off his bed.

Craig chuckled at his friend as he asked the question. The slightly older boy knew how oblivious his friend was in some given situations, especially in remembering his address. "Heh, no problem, dude... it's..." With that, Craig gave Stephen his exact address and details on his home. "Alright, when will you be over? 10 minutes? Oh, okay then... sounds cool! Also... if you'd like to, you can, like, bring like an extra pair of clothes or even some pajamas or something; I wouldn't mind you sleeping over at my place for the night." Craig grinned widely as he said this.

"Right. Might be best. After all, don't you have that huge ass bed in your room?" Stephen asked with a bit of amusement, starting to pack a small backpack with some clothes, blissfully unaware what Craig had planned. He could be a bit paranoid at times, but he felt like he could actually trust Craig.

"Yup, sure do! Fit for a king to sleep on..." Craig responded, smiling as he made light conversation with the boy that he had gotten in close contact with over these past few days. "Well, I'll be waiting for you! I've got the bed ready, there's food here if you'd like some, and everything else needed is ready to go... can't wait for you to get here, bud. I'll see ya soon!" With that, Craig hung up the phone.

And he laughed. He laughed in a somewhat maniacal tone at the other boy on the opposite end. But this was just mainly because of the REAL purpose in mind for wanting an unsuspecting Craig to come over...

To ensure that "everything else needed was ready", Craig brought his hands underneath the bed and felt up many various yet important items, including the distinct crinkling noises of a bag...

"Perfect." Craig chuckled, sitting on his bed and waiting. Just waiting for the absolute perfect opportunity to strike. Waiting for his "friend" to arrive so they could have fun... SO much fun.

After the phone was hung up, Stephen made sure he had everything he needed, double checking it as he placed his keys into his pockets along with his wallet. Grabbing his watch, he placed it around his left wrist and locked the metal snap into place. This was going to be an interesting sleep over as he zipped up his bag, slinging it over his shoulder.

Heading downstairs, he proceeded to make sure everything was locked up before heading outside, locking the house after him before heading towards Craig's house, humming softly as he walked at a rather brisk pace.

The day could not have been any more perfect as The sun shined in the neighborhood thy both boys occupied. Fortunately, the walk from one house to the next took right about ten minutes, so it didn't take much time for Stephen to arrive at the small, two-story home that was marked with same address number as why Craig had provided.

Walking up the steps to the front door, Stephen tried to peer through the window, trying to see if anyone was home. Not seeing anyone just yet, Stephen calmly knocked on the door. "Craig, it's me!" Stephen called to the boy, assuming he was upstairs.

Craig smiled upon hearing the knock on the door. He quickly darted downstairs and answered the door, glad to see his "friend" who decided to come after all. "Hey there, Craig! What's up, buddy? Come on in!" Craig said, inviting Stephen in and closing the front door.
