In the cold darkness of night, Neo-Princess Serenity, or Rini or Small Lady as she was known, tossed and turned and whimpered in her elegant bed. She was in the midst of an intense nightmare, and it took a toll. Soon, she screamed and woke with a start. Rini breathed heavily, covered in a cool sweat. She lay back on the fluffy pillows and then noticed a familiar sensation. She felt under the covers, pulled them back and saw the telltale dark spot. "Not again!" she almost yelled. This had been happening for almost a month now, and she'd usually take her sheets and wash them secretly. But now she didn't bother. She curled in a ball and burst out crying loudly. "It's not fair! I'm 12 years old, and I was dry for three years! Why?!"

Rini calmed down somewhat at what her mother said. Even though she was queen, her mother always took care of the many basic duties of parenthood, starting when she breastfed and changed Rini so long ago. Rini went into the shower and tried to forget about her problem. When she was clean and in new nightclothes, Serena was still there at the foot of Rini's bed.
