Tommy just stared up at the top of his new room, currently decorated with glow in the dark stars taking in his room and the decorations that was in it...

Brightly colored walls, posters of kid's cartoons and a closet filled with clothes meant for a younger kid, there was just one problem with this, Tommy was actually a 12 year old and this room was his little brother's old room...

Why did this happen? Well Tommy's dad had a habit of big growth spurts and while Tommy didn't seem to inherit that part of his genetic history, his little bro more than exceeded it, having a growth spurt that caused his little brother to now be physically bigger than him...

As a 'temporary solution' to this his Mom asked if they would be fine with switching rooms for now and that their clothes would be moved soon...

Tommy was prepared to wait for that, he didn't want to have to wear his little brother's hand-me-downs now...

Josh on the other hand, who was also relaxing in his new room, was thrilled of the current events that had unfolded. He was now in his big brothers room that had a normal ceiling in it, and dark blue walls. He was laying on a bed that had a brown blanket on it and not the dumb Power Ranger one that his old room had. Even the closet and dresser was filled with stuff for older boys.

Downstairs mom was busy making spegettie and meatballs unaware of what either of her boys were doing in their new rooms.

Tommy on the other hand was walking around in his new room, seeing everything that was in it, a toy chest, a dresser that had more clothes for him and Josh's school stuff was still in this room, with a slight daydream of having to take Josh's place in school now planted in his head before being shook out of his head...

Ok boys!" Their mom called down as the oven dinged telling her that the garlic bread was ready, "Lunch is ready!"

"Oh boy!" Josh cheered happily and rushed out of the room, shutting Tommy's shirt drawer on the dresser as he was admiring the more grown upish things on the shirts, or how some were plain and one color, and rushed out of his room and made his way to the kitchen.

"Coming mom!" Tommy said as he hurried out of Josh's old room and headed to the kitchen as well, the smell of food quickly cheering him up a bit as he was making his way to the kitchen...

Josh sat in his chair, which was the furthest away from their dad's chair at the head of the table.

"Hey there Joshy." She said smiling as she began filling a bowl for him, "Hungry?"

"Uh huh!' he said smiling and patted his belly, "Imma growing boy so I need all the food I can get!" Which wasn't wrong. Heck even his shirt didn't cover his belly button anymore.

"I know!" She said to him smiling and seen Tommy come in, "Hey there Tomym. Made your favorite."

"Thanks Mom!" Tommy said with a smile as he soon began to eat his food as he sat down in his chair, not paying to attention to how Josh's clothes no longer seemed to fit him anymore...

In fact if one looked at his clothes, one could think that Tommy's clothes were a size bigger on him...

Mom noticed that fact looking at the two as she got her own food and sat next to Josh.
"You know Tommy..." Mom said as she dipped her garlic bread in her noodles, "I bet Joshy would fit in you clothes perfectly." She said.

Tommy had slurped up some noodles at the sound of that and said, "You want Josh to start wearing my clothes now Mom?" wondering what she was thinking...

I mean maybe until dad gets back." She said, "It'll be easier to get him some new clothes once his business trip is finished." She explained.

"Yeah plus you're clothes are really cool!" Josh cheered, his mouth messy with sauce.

"And since they're already in his room it'll be easy for him to get to." She said
