Helping those who want the help

Well, this may seem a little arrogant or egotistical of myself, but I am starting to think that there aren't enough strong roleplays nowadays because alot of people haven't been experienced with quality roleplaying themselves.

I'm taking a leap of faith here to say this, but I am going to dedicate this thread to helping anyone who wishes to become a better roleplayer or maybe wants a tip here and there.

My hope is that this will attract at least a few people willing to be taught a few things for writing and won't be flamed down by others who think it is unnecessary or stupid. I'm not saying I'm like god when it comes to roleplaying, and I'M NOT FOR HEAVENS SAKE. I'm only human and I have an opinion on what counts as quality and what doesn't.

I really wish a bit of the one line posting rp-ers who wish to expand on their stories structure would ask for some form of advice.

If anyone has a comment or is willing to "go to school" just post below.
I believe we can make alot of wonderful writers show their true potential.

I used to do a bit of rping from time to time quite awhile ago. Unfortunately I don't really do much of that anymore seeing as I just can't get myself into it. I've never been a line rper though. It'd be great to see the majority of the users who rp to start using paragraphs and describing better, though.

Well, it's my goal to help everyone who helps themselves. I found out a lot of things over the years about my writing style and other peoples styles. So i hope I can be a help to everyone who enters. =P

I will either talk to you 1 on 1 over the topic or I will make a separate thread for the issue.

I'm glad you made this thread, and I'm kicking myself for not thinking of something like it. >w> I do hope a majority of one-liner posters will take this opportunity, its hard to find good Roleplay partners in the handful of people that post more then a couple lines that I know.

I am no one line rper. I just find it hard to be more descriptive then the situation truly needs. however I find rp/story fighting scenes much easier to be descriptive and I often OVER describe things. yes I am fucking contradicting myself big whop!

I wasn't trying to target you or anything. it was just a common conception that has been found around the majority of rpers not saying it was you.

I don't think she took it as an attack. After all, you'd have to be pretty damn dumb to think it was a personal attack since you clearly stated you weren't attacking anyone in your opening post. Anyways I think you had a great idea here. :3
