Ignoring western viewers

Why is it that western viewers are ignored when companies like Viz release a new movie for example.(still waiting on it) and the only way to keep up with our favorite manga/anime is to watch it online subbed (honestly i like subbed much more then dubbed but that's for another thread). It seems like a huge lost of revenue. For example bleach's English dub is so terribly behind the subs and raw, around 180 episodes behind. that is just ridiculous imo. Whats your opinion?

They need to'' build up ''episodes for dubbing eps/boxs to be released on a standard set rate and such

180 episodes isn't enough of a cushion? And how hard could it be to translate the manga they have already. I also strongly dissaprove of the fact that the 4th bleach movie has taken over 6 months to be released to dvd. Thats dvd i mind you. They haven't dubbed any of the bleach as far as i can tell. Also sorry for the rant i tend to get over ragy when i write about this.

Also it depends on how the series is selling/ if any channel is willing to pay for airing rights of the series

Hmm sry i was not aware...But why was there no western showing of the new bleach movie.

the other two hasn't been dubbed yet,simply put most anime movies get pushed aside when the hype/selling goes down same with dubbing if the fans buying the products go down way down

Hmm my main point is why don't they release it to the west? Heck even subbed would be fine. But waiting 6 months for a movie that was out last year is a bit annoying.

you mean the newest movie? it takes time to dub a animated movie from another country what why the matching the ''lip flaps'' the best you can. While both translating then rewriting the script to were its the closest you can get to the first original script like any dubbing works really

Also until a dvd is out of a movie it won't get subbed unless someone ether leaks the movie onto the net or recorded it with there phone or something when watching it in theaters then uploading it on the net.

The movie is supposedly on dvd we are now waiting on the sub communities:
But to give you an idea, The movie released in theartres on dec 8th 2010, we are just getting the dvds 6+ months after

big companies are only after one thing : profit maximisation . What do you think happens if the writer quits or can't do the manga or the anime looses licensing to make it ,it creates a gap which has a domino effect on the rest of the world now if big gaps start happening then tonnes of cash is lost through it not showing. However the English dub is behind so that if something like that happened then only the Japanese licenser's would loose money not the American ones who keep going and catch up a little and after a month or two the manga should be back up and the dub is just a little more ahead, leaving the dub continuously going and the sub with a big gap thus in this time period where the sub is on hiatus it forces more people to watch the dub
