Dani blushed as Amy went through her thick explanation and apologies, her own feet feeling rather calm on the beach as she waddled a bit slower behind her aunt. It was interesting to see her aunt attempt to apologize for her mistakes. "I...I accept the apology. I understand that there can be some things that are a bit hard to deny and that they can get you a little less than savory." she blushed as she looked towards the adult of the two. The silence was awkward as they walked, each seeming to hope that the other would break it for the two. Amy stopped to sit on the sand next to the teen, her attention peaking for a second as she heard a crinkling but she quickly dismissed it for the topic at hand. So that was her first question? Not a bad choice. "Well, I'm not sure who exactly you think that woman is, but I'll tell you that it is Lisa whom you met earlier. As to whether we're a couple...that's complicated. We have been an item or whatever for a couple of months but nothing's been decided yet." Danielle gave a little blush. "Well I mean you two seem like you would make a nice couple and she is really pretty and such." Dani hoped to build up a little trust between the pair, figuring it best that they build their relationship on compliment rather than catching each other in embarrassing times. She was about to mention something else as her skirt was caught by the wind that splashed off the beautiful undulations of the morning sun and the waves that lay before her. She reacted as fast as possible, slamming her skirt down with a blush. "S..sorry about that I just don't really think that we should see more of each other." she smiled weakly, attempting to keep of the false ruse between her and her aunt. "I guess it's just that you two seem to be rather cute together. Notice how the sun sashays across the sea? It's like that is you two, Polar opposites who should never be able to create beauty as it would be a taboo for the two women and yet together you both shine more beautifully than either of your wonder combined." she smiled over towards her aunt with a little blush. "Oh sorry I just write sometimes and that seemed like a thing to say."

Amy smiled at her niece's embarrassment as she fumbled to get her skirt in place and while she didn't get a very good look at what was beneath it she got a decent enough glance to have questions. But now was not the time for that. "I'm glad you think that Dani. It's a strange situation and we're not exactly going about it in the most mature manner, but your acceptance and approval means a lot to me. Plus, it saves me the trouble of having to sneak it around you." the aunt said, speaking from the heart as this was truly a load off of her mind. Admittedly, not the way she wanted to go about it, but still. "I hope that over your stay here this will act as, I don't know, a learning experience. You and Lisa are in a very similar situation in that this is her first relationship with another woman, and while she's very eager, she's learning how to handle a very new set of emotions."

Amy reached her hand over and took hold of her shoulder, pulling her into a light embrace, and as their heads touched she said "It's ok. I know, I know exactly what you mean honey. It was the eighties so we were more secretive, more tentative, but we were just as excited and just as afraid of being caught. Why do you think it took me until Junior year of college to experiment as I did." Amy looked down at her niece and held her a little closer as she asked "So, I'm sorry it was your ugly old aunty, but how'd you like it? Your first glance at a half naked woman I mean."
