"Good to know." Amelia said as they approached a nearby Federation space station to drop the ship off at. "Well, I think it's safe to say that we can consider this mission a success."

(They don't have to do anything. We can just sideling them for a bit. Perhaps the next day we can have Matt deal with Roxanne in the engines, and Mako can give Amelia a physical to learn about her?)

Mako nodded, as well as Matt.

"Excellent work everyone. Again, nothing exciting, but it counts" he says.

Once the ship was dropped off, Matt plotted a course to search the galaxy they were in for any distress signals, and awaited any missions that might be assigned to them.

There were no distress calls or problems in the ship for the rest of the day, but the crew were still on alert just in case. The next day, Amelia was called into the medical bay by Mako. "You wanted to see me, doctor?"

Roxanne was also working in engineering when Matt arrived. "Hi Commander! What are you doing here?" She asked.

As they were stationary in space, the piloting controls set to 'park' essentially, Matt tended to Amelia, changing her diaper a couple of times during the day, and the crew met together and ate telling small stories of their history.

The next day Mako had decided to do a physical after some research on her race. "Yes, thank you. Please lay down on the table here" he instructs. "I did a little research, can you tell me if you recall being allergic to any particular drugs or food?" he asks. He was referring to actual medicine, rather than recreational drugs.

Matt smiled at the bubbly Roxanne while she was tending to daily checks on the engine. "Well I wanted to learn a bit more about you and how you handle things" he explains. "Amelia is hoping the doctor can help her with her medical issue and preparing for aid in case we get into a battle in the future" he explains.

"So.....why don't you think you'd look cute in a diaper?" He asks abruptly and playfully.

Amelia nodded and laid down on the examination table. "Well, uh... this isn't exactly a drug per se, but..." Amelia blushed at what she was about to tell Mako. "Warm milk effects Haotians differently than humans. I'm not sure why, but when it's heated up, I tend to act more... infantile than usual." She explained.

He ran the body scan and noted the readings as she seemed to be okay. "Oh? It would seem that the aging process for your mind and body are in a battle then. Essentially leaving you as a big baby" he explains generally. It wasn't meant to be a tease as he seemed to be speaking calmly.

"Can you tell me anything about your history of illness? Perhaps anything related to the cold? Or something that has caused you pain or unrest before? Obviously most people have issues with certain food, even when not cooked properly" he asks and reasons. "If you wish to potty train, I may be able to offer some assistance as well. It would be more adult in timing your bathroom breaks, rather than childish cheering for not having accidents"

Amelia sighed in frustration at hearing the Doctor's explanation for her condition. "My parents always said Haotians having children with other races was extremely uncommon. I bet they didn't think they'd end up with an overgrown toddler like me."

"For illnesses, not much difference from regular humans. I've had all of my shots already, and nothing really affects me like warm milk." Amelia replied. "I suppose it would be nice to give potty training another shot. It would make watching me nephew much less embarrassing."

Mako sighed and put his paw over Amelia's forehead, minding her antennae. "Captain please, when two species fall in love, they may understand the risk of their children, but you are the first of your kind. Taking the best of two species is a wonderful thing in science and the medical field" he states.

"You act far too much like an adult anyway. If anything you'd be more in line with those species that simply have incontinence" he points out. "In regard to your potty training, like I said, just try and use a toilet when you can, and make it around the same time. Eat, drink, and go at similar times so your body can adjust" he instructs as he held her hand to help her sit up on the table.

"Have you experimented with warm milk? To see how much affects you?" he asks

"There are just times where I feel like I don't fit in in either side." Amelia explained. "I mean... it's not just the diapers and warm milk. I have several quirks I don't really tell others about." She blushed a little. "Like at night... I still sleep with a stuffed animal and a nightlight."

"I understand that, but what if I need help?" Amelia asked as she got up. "I'm still not entirely sure what to do on the potty." She said, realizing how ridiculous she sounded.

"Poor girl" he coos while he gently hugged her as she stood up then let her go. "Do you have someone close to you that can help? I suppose I wouldn't mind doing my part, but I will have to tend to others when they are in need of medical help" he explains.

"Your night time habits, as a growing woman, makes sense, and comforting aids for you to sleep are fine, even if adults may shun those habits towards children at a certain age. But showing you everything about the toilet or 'potty' is a very intimate thing" he reasons.
