Kira whimpered, before starting to nibble on his thumbnail. "I guess so, daddy, mommy" Kira said, snuggling into Even, before he heard a hissing noise and blushed, realising he had wet his diaper again. Ienzo smiled, and was nibbling on an Ice cream bar that Aeleus had got him whilst they were out here, before realising that the water in the ice cream was just passing right through him the time he had been eating. Yep... Even and Jai had two wet little boys on their hands.

The two traded knowing glances. "Ienzo..." said Jai quietly. "I think it's time for a change." She gave him a Look. "Finish up your ice cream and we'll go take care of that, okay?" Even simply walked off with Kira, tossing a 'bye' over his shoulder. A small voice called back. "Oh. The potato, I had completely forgotten her." he said. He shrugged and continued walking off.

Ienzo finished it with a bite, before putting the stick in the bin. Ienzo followed after Jai, Even and Kira. "Sorry for being so much trouble..." Kira said, with a sorrowful expression on his face.

Even kissed the end of the boy's nose. "Nonsense. You aren't being any trouble. Listen, Kira, Jai and I took in four children with stories similar to yours. One more doesn't make much of a difference; it just means we have one more around to love."

"Really?" Kira said in disbelief, and giggled a bit as he was kissed. 'One more to love? I feel... so at home here...' Kira thought, as he snuggled against Even with a smile on his face.

"I will need to talk things over with Jai, but... Kira, how would you feel about staying here?" asked Even as they reached the lab and he laid Kira down on the changing table. It now had a thick mat on it, so it thankfully wasn't as cold.

"I don't mind as long as you don't mind... " Kira said, as he was laid down on the changing table, and giggled as he wiggled a bit. Kira sure seemed childish. "This world seems to be so full of light... so much different than my old home... my brother used to say it was like that because our world was in the Realm of Darkness, whatever that meant..." Kira said, and although he understood light he didn't understand the realms.

"Ah! Then that explains why we haven't heard of it before now. The Realm of Darkness is... well, not many people who go there ever come back." he said with a frown. "Anyway. Kira... do you know what 'adoption' is?"

Even re-applied the rash cream. "When a child is adopted, they are taken in by someone else. That person becomes the child's new parent. I have adopted all four of the others, including Ienzo, and I was wondering if you would be okay with Jai and I adopting you."
