"Okay!" Ienzo said cheerfully as he followed Jai to help her.

Kira looked a bit puzzled, but then said to Even. "Do you know... the word... 'Resurrection'" Kira asked, wondering if he could explain his power better to the scientist.

"Why yes, I do. I figured it was just a healing ability, but... resurrection? Yes..." said the scientist, scribbling something down on a notepad.

I have the ability... to bring people back... from the dead... as well as come back whenever I 'die'... unfortunately... it was the reason my brother sent me here... because people were after my power..." Kira said, stumbling over his words a bit. How could such a child bring back the dead? Was it a scientifically based power or was it magically based? Kira looked down when he said brother, he missed him a bit.

"So you have a brother, eh? Hm... I wonder. This seems to be magically based, some kind of internal power if it can effect others as well." mused the man, scribbling further notes. "Now... there are a few tests I wish to run... Back to the lab!" He picked Kira back up and walked off, back towards the laboratories.

Kira shook at his head at the comment about magically based.

"It's not magic... it's a divine power..." Kira stated. "My brother is a mage... but not me..." Kira said. What did he mean by divine power? Then again, no one here really knew which world Kira came from, so his world probably had different mechanics of magic. Plus, there weren't really many magic spells that could bring back the dead perfectly.

Kira snuggled into Even again, to get as much warm as he could, as he only had a diaper and a long-sleeved shirt on, his underwear and pants were still in the lab.

((I'm basing this on the fact that there is no resurrection magic normally in the Final Fantasy universe, Arise and othe healing spells only really cute KO, not death. ))

"On my world... there are three kinds of powers... psionic... magic... and divine... espers are the psionic users... and can't use magic without getting hurt... mages and L'Cie are the users of magic and can't use psionics... for the same reason as espers can't use magic... then there are the ones with divine powers. We're the ones who have powers that can do things that are beyond the scope of magic and psionics..." Kira explained, still against Even's shoulder.

"Like nullifying magical and psionic powers... or reviving the dead... or commanding departed souls..." Kira said, not knowing how obsessed with science and magic that Even was.

Even had his mouth hanging open and was occasionally making small squeaking noises. "WHAT?" he finally got out. "You can... No, impossible, it's against the laws of science..." His eye was twitching slightly again.

"So your saying my people's goddess is a myth?!" Kira said, a bit annoyed, looking down at the ground. "Etro is real! I've seen her! Besides, saying it is against the laws of science is like saying magic is against the laws when it exists" Kira said, trying to calm his frustration, but he still held onto Even. "If it means so much to you... we can have it being a magical power for simplicity..." Kira said next, not wanting the man to be too angry with him.
