"O...Okays..." Ven sniffled now rubbing his eyes. He looked up at Terra with a small smile, maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all.

(And suddenly Hulk Eraqus... Not really)

A flash of light could be seen as the group came back to the land of Departure, they had discovered Rinni could shrink down and now she was in a backpack. Ventus was clinging onto Terra, hiding behind him as they made their way to the main training ground.

"Well we're here..." Aqua said, everything was how it used to be.

Eraqus was waiting for them there, he gave them a simple nod as he acknowledged their presence. He noticed the black haired baby Vanitas and gave Aqua a look of a raised eye brow, confused as to who the black haired boy was.

"So you've returned" Eraqus said simply, looking at all of them in turn. He saw the saddened look on Terra's face, and noticed Ventus clinging to Terra, like a scared child. Something had happened. "Terra, Aqua, what has happened?" Eraqus inquired. Terra stayed silent, almost fearing what might happen if he responded.

"Umm... Do you want the long answer or the abridged version?" Aqua asked a little awkwardly. Ventus was shaking, luckily he had on a diaper cause he was soaking it at this point, he pressed himself closer to Terra.

"Tell me the long version later, let's get you inside. It is good to see you again, all of you" Eraqus said, before noticing Ventus shaking visibly, clinging closer to Terra. Eraqus walked over to Ventus and asked "Ventus, what is wrong?", not at all annoyed or showing any hit of anger. Ventus' current behaviour was perplexing, at leas to Eraqus it was.

Terra hoped that Master Eraqus wouldn't be mad, considering Ventus was literally scared out of his mind at the moment from the looks of it. Vanitas on the other hand, was lightly dozing in Aqua's arms.

He looked at him, his lips quivering and tears building up in his eyes. It was only a few seconds later that the boy began to cry loudly into Terra's side.

"Sowwy? Hmm, something must have happened to Ventus. He's acting like a child' Eraqus thought, as he heard Ventus starting to cry.

Terra sighed, and picked up the boy, holding him close, trying to calm the boy down. He couldn't use the pacifier since it would be embarrassing in front of Master Eraqus. "It's okay, Ventus. I'm not angry at you for disappearing" Eraqus said, as he handed Ventus an handkerchief to clean his eyes with.

He hiccuped loudly, too embarrassed to even look at anyone.

"Yeah... That's what I wanted to talk about" Aqua told him.

"And that's what happened" Aqua finished telling their master what had happened. Ventus by this time had fallen asleep in Terra's lap, softly sucking on his thumb.

"Now this is an interesting turn of events. I knew of Vanitas' existence from Master Xenahort. But now I am starting to suspect him as having a part in something sinister... But for now, we should take care of Ventus and Vanitas and see if we can find a way to reverse this" Eraqus said, looking at the light streaming through the windows before turning to Terra and Aqua.

'Now this should put your plans out of action, Xenahort. Just what were you planning to do with the Chi-Blade?' Eraqus thought, but he figured out that maybe he didn't want to have the situation reversed. It would help prevent the war Xenahort was trying to recreate. In their current state, Ventus and Vanitas were unable to form the Chi-Blade.

Terra smiled as he brushed his fingers through his little brother's hair. He looked up at Master Eraqus, surprised he wasn't taking the situation too harshly. At least he wasn't punishing Ventus for running away... yet.

Ven nuzzled his head gently against the older male's chest, he could be heard softly breathing as his free hand clutched Terra's sash belt.

"Um Master... About Ven..." Aqua said, maybe she shouldn't have brought him up, but she couldn't help it.
