"Ummm... You sure you're not upset with him?" Aqua asked, okay maybe she really was going into the deep end asking that. But now they knew why he left in the first place so maybe if she explained that to him, he would understand.

"I know that Ventus sees Terra as a big brother. Vanitas tricked him into following Terra by the looks of it. I see no reason to punish him as of this time. Although, how can I punish him when he looks that damned adorable" Eraqus said, trying to act formal but Ventus' adorable sleeping was distracting him, so his last sentence came off as kind of unexpected.

Terra grinned and said "That's a good thing, at least. He's certainly more affectionate since Aqua turned Vanitas into a baby. But there is something I noticed, originally Vanitas had golden eyes, now he has blue eyes like Ventus". The last statement clearly showing his confused as to how Vanitas' eyes changed colour.

"A few of the effects of darkness staining the heart is that the eyes turned gold and the skin darkens. It may be possible that light has entered Vanitas' now infant heart of formerly pure darkness and cleansed him of such stains" Eraqus said, but Terra didn't quite understand what he said fully.

"Huh..." Aqua sighed in relief, she had been worried for the Blond. She began to wonder if what Eraqus said was true then...

"What does that make Master Xehanort?" she asked him.

"I mean... He has both symptoms but I'm pretty sure he was born tan"

"I've always felt uneasy about Master Xenahort, even when we were Apprentices. From what I was told, his homeworld was the Destiny Islands, a world of an tropical island chain. He always showed an unhealthy interest in the darkness" Eraqus stated, he looked around and then Terra said "In Radiant Garden, I was rescuing him from some man and to defeat him, I had to use the darkness within me. I felt terrible, but then Master Xenahort said to me 'Darkness can not be destroyed, only channeled'".

Eraqus turned around and looked with shock at Terra, but Terra just looked away, with a guilty look on his face, as if his inner fight with himself had returned. "I see... then the situation is worse than I thought. Xenahort seems to be trying to drag you down into darkness, Terra. Just as Malficent tried to do but failed when she possessed you and forced you to take Aurora's heart" Eraqus said, the reason he knew about the heart deal was that Terra had told him, but it worried him all the more.

"One, do you know what she is?" Aqua pointed to the creature but she was very unfamiliar.

"Not even I know what kind of creature she is. Maybe the texts in the temple's library would be of assistance?" Eraqus suggested, looking at the animal, that seemed to have a connection to Ventus.

"All we know is that Ven knows her and she knows him so probably his pet or something which brings me to question two, WHERE did Master Xehanort find Ventus in the first place? Thar's always been bothering me, a whole lot more now too" Aqua explained to him and it was a good question, where did the man find the blond?

"Xenahort never really explained that to me when he brought Ventus to us. I am also thinking that Vanitas' creation was part of a plan by Xenahort. There was a tale of an ancient keyblade known as the Chi-Blade which was formed by a heart of light and a heart of darkness of equal strength combining, it had the power to open Kingdom Hearts the source of all hearts. I'm believing the reason that Vanitas was extracted from Ventus was for that express purpose. If that is true, Xenahort can't be trusted anymore." Eraqus explained, showing a look of worry at Ventus. He might as well tell them why he didn't want Ventus to leave the world.

All this new information was starting to make Xenahort more and more a suspicious character.

"Where the hell did he find Ven!? You think he did an internet search or something jeeze!" Aqua's reaction was a little more comical than need be. Ven shifted around and began to wake up.
