Terra was distracted by Ventus, and was surprised by the hug. Terra smiled, sitting up and hugging Ventus. "It's not your fault, Ven-Ven. I found out the reason these things have been happening to you..." Terra said, sounding mellow, forgetting that Ventus' connection to Vanitas isn't something he should be telling Ventus. Terra noted that Ventus looked quite adorable in his current attire, and Terra kissed Ventus on the forehead, trying to reassure the younger boy.

"Let your big brother keep you safe" Terra said, calmly, as he tickled Ventus in a neck, since his shirt was covering his stomach, and it was as vulnerable place for tickling that anything else. "Let's go home..." Terra said, deciding finding a way to control the darkness was pointless when he couldn't figure out how to control himself or his emotions. Right now, he wanted to keep Ventus safe.

He very lightly giggled but something caught his eye.

"Look out!" he shouted knocking Terra over as arrow just barely grazed them both.

"Ah damn! I missed!" Braig shouted annoyed. He was unaware of what was behind him and growling loudly, ready to rip him to shreds.

"Okay! Seriously, Braig? Did you learn anything in our fight?!" Terra shouted, but smirking when he saw the creature behind Braig. Oh this was going to be good.

"What's with the smirk? I should be the one doing that" he said then felt something wet on his shoulder. He turned and saw the Dog like creature bearing its huge, sharp teeth and snarling and he paled.

"Oh crap" he squeeked as he was then chased and bitten on the ass by the large creature. Aqua was now coming up to them.

"Terra! Ven! Are you two alright!?" she yelled out running over to them. She saw the cuts and how red eyed Ven was. Aqua turned to Terra.

"What happened? And... Why is that Dog like creature latched onto that man's backside?"

"Well, that man is Braig, the man I was worried about. My guess he was torturing Ven" Terra said, holding Ventus in his arms as he sat up. He was laughing at Braig's misfortune, it was kind of amusing.

Ven watched the man as he ran from the creature, he seemed... Out of it for some reason.

"Ven?" Aqua said seeing the glazed look he had. He was staring at the creature for some reason.

"Hmm?" Terra said, but then he noticed the glazed look on Ven's eyes. He looked around and then saw the cage without its bars. "I think that creature was something Braig was holding captive" Terra said, making a conclusion as to why the creature seem super pissed with Braig.

"I... I think that Ventus recognises that creature... don't know how..." Terra said, looking at Ventus. He seemed to be in his own complete world. Maybe he was remembering his past memories. That's always a good thing. All they had known previously about him is that he had been an Apprentice of Xenahort. Maybe the creature had been Ventus' pet when he was younger?

"Rinni?" he finally said. Braig had fled when the creature turned its attention to Ven, looking at him. Softly it treaded over to him and stared at him with those dark magenta eyes. He stared back at it before it nuzzled its snout against his face, making him giggle softly and hug it around the snout.
