Sora looked at the two bruisers for a moment before smiling at them briefly. It didn't take long for her to fall asleep. The bed was so big and comfy! It was easy to fall asleep yet nightmares plagued her. Memories trying to force themselves through each one of them and she just couldn't take it or make much sense of them.

Waking up she smiled at the neoshadows. She hadn't expected food! Looking up she gave Maleficent a grin, "Yes Mother!" replied Sora doing as she was told eating away only to stop and look at the shadow, "Here!" she said offering a piece of toast to the creature trying to feed it. Could it even eat? She wasn't sure? After a bit she got dressed in her new clothes. They looked nice and felt so soft but also firm and hard? It seemed odd to an extent but she didn't mind at all.

Sora ready ran into the throne room to meet Maleficent for her day of training, "I'm ready!" said Sora excitedly and full of energy.

Vanitas was busy looking around Twilight Town and more to the point Yen Sid's tower. He knew that Kairi was in there but that wasn't important to him right now at all. What was important was to steal one of his magical books. He needed to learn and understand more about the heartless. He knew about the Nobodies well enough but the heartless was something else entierly that he couldn't quite control yet.

Sitting on Yen Sid's window sil he could hear Kairi talking to the old wizard and frowned. Someone was out there? Someone the girl wanted? He thought for a moment and smirked. Sora....

Opening the window he looked at the two, "Hello there," he said, "I couldn't help but over hear that you felt something and I can't help but be curious," he chuckled, "who you might be talking about but I've got an idea."

"I'm not here to fight so no need to worry! I'm just here to get this book right here!" said Van picking up the book, "But that's intresting Kairi! If you really do think Sora's out there and you felt it then you must be right your hearts are connected after all." chuckleld Van, "His nor your heart would lie and you know what," paused Van, "neither would mine but who will find who first? Me or you? We both know that I am also connected to that brat and if I can't get to Ventus..." laughed Vanitas, "he'll do as a close second."

The neo shadow held the piece of toast looking at it weirdly. It seemed to absorb it into itself. It tilted its head. It ran off as the shadow from the night before led her to the throne room.

Maleficent smirked when the girl entered

“We’ll begin with a simple spell fire” she tossed a fireball at the wall. “It shouldn’t be hard to learn for a beginner” she said. So “focus on everything you know about fire” she grinned “what do you know?”

Kairi’s key blade appeared in her hand. She drew her blade and glared “ you touch him and I’ll kill you” she swore glaring at the boy. He wore his helmet so she didn’t know who it was. “I’ll find him and I’ll bring him home.”

Sora giggled a little as she saw the neo shadow absorb the toast and hoped that giving it some food was okay?

Looking at Maleficent she smiled brightly and watched with amazement at the fireball hitting the wall, "So cool!" she said, "Uh..." pausing Sora thought for a moment and focused on what she knew about fire, "Hot, burning," she said closing her eyes, "full of rage and life but calm and deadly," she continued, "lethal, destructive, powerful, angry and full of rage...."

Axel....

Mulan...the huns...

Hades....

"Either you control the fire and learn how to use it or be consumed by it and hurt everyone around you." she answered gently. Her body becoming tense slightly and her palms felt heavy and a little sore almost as if something was pushing it's way through.

"You know this....." said a voice in her head not belonging to her, "be careful and aim for the wall and don't worry."

Opening her eyes Sora yelled and fire jolted out of her hands. Her magical core sprung to life. Energy rippling powerful and strong that had stayed dorment roared and screamed. It was much more then just a ball of fire.

Sora found herself being pushed back by the blast and falling onto the floor of the throne room. Her hands aching but not burned or damaged at all. The power that she had within inside her was strong but her control was troublesome and weak.

Van laughed, "Oh come on Kairi! Would I ever harm Sora? I don't have anything against him at all," he continued chuckling, "will you now? You haven't found him before so why now? What's the point? Nearly everyone else has giving up besides you and Aqua." he added laughing softly.

"The King, Donald, Goofy, Riku, Roxas..." he continued, "they've giving up and so will you! Do you really think you could fight me little girl?" scoffed Van picking up the book, "I'll see you around Kairi and hey maybe I'll even follow you around? If you really do think Sora might be out there and has called out to you," he chuckled, "I wouldn't want to miss my chance to take him down right before your very eyes."

In an instant Van disappered into darkness. He would do his best to follow Kairi. If Sora was alive at all then she would lead him to the keyblade weilder.

Maleficent watched the girl and was more than shocked as the girl flew across the from the impact of her blast. The walls were sturdy enough to absorb the hit. And she was left baffled for several moments as she went to stand the girl back up. Casting cure on the girl to help her recover from the slight aches of casting such a spell.

“Remarkable” she muttered looking the girl over. She couldn’t be more pleased. “Seems we’ll be working on control first then” she said grinning patting the girl’s back.”so now I want you to do that again but focus on the warmth of the fire nothing else” she ordered the girl.


She watched the flames form in the girl’s hands this would be wonderful a magical apprentice of this skill with a pure heart... she was truly blessed.

“I’m very proud of you” she offered the praise knowing this would help her control of the little girl.

Kairi growled in her fury as the boy fled she hated him so much. “We need to find her”

Yen sid shook his head sullenly. “You need to work on your training kairi.” He said sternly.

Kairi snapped “to hell with training sora’s out there and he’s in trouble and we’re sitting around doing nothing this is wrong” she said stubbornly

“Riku and Micky will keep their eyes and ears open” the sage old wizard finished ordering the girl. And giving a stern look.

Kairi let out a frustrated sigh as she deflated “yes master yen sid” she said bitterly as she left the room.

Sora breathed in and out heavily surprised by how powerful the flames were and shocked. How was that even possible! She looked at her hands in amazement before looking up at Maleficent with a grin as she felt herself become more healthy thanks to spell 'cure'.

Sora stood up with Maleficent's help and looked up pleased by the pat on her back. Nodding Sora got to work and breathed in deeply, "Yes Mother." she answered as her hands sparkled again with just the warmth of the fire nothing else.

She couldn't believe she was doing magic at all! She never felt so happy! Looking up at Maleficent and hearing her say those words caused Sora to smile brightly at her, "Thank you so much Mother!" replied Sora her heart pounding. No one had told her that they were proud of her until now.

Axel waited outside the room for Kairi, "So I take it that the talk didn't go well huh?" he asked with a frown, "You know we can always train and search for Sora at the same time, right?" chuckled Axel, "It isn't as if we're going against Yen Sid and who knows maybe we'll get lucky," he continued, "so where should we go to train?" asked Axel, "Where does your heart say we should go?" added Axel with a grin. After finding Roxas he was much more happy but he still wanted to train and become a master keyblader like Riku and Aqua were. It also didn't help much that Roxas still had a couple of issues with him and he couldn't blame Roxas for that at all considering everything he had gone through.

Maleficent got up “now I want you to practice until you feel you have a firm grasp of the spell” she ordered spinning around and walking away from the girl.

She left the girl alone in the room while she went to work on other projects....

After she had left the neo shadow from earlier popped up followed by two red tiny hearless that floated and there fire balls at the wall.

The neo shadow pointed at the girl then them telling her to imitate the heartless..

Kairi held her heart in thought as Lea spoke “I think we should we should go” she frowned even deeper as her heart reached out for the heart she so cherished. “”It’s too faint right now I can’t find him” she sighed

“Let’s go to the coliseum and get some practice in for a while” she sighed dejectedly

Sora nodded, "Yes Ma'm!"

Sora started to practice the spell making sure to get her control down properly before pausing and seeing the neo shadow along with two tiny heartless with fire balls.

After an hour of training and practicing Sora was able to imitate the heartless easily. Grinning she jumped up a little and clapped her hands, "I want to show Mother!" said Sora looking at the new shadow and giving it a hug.

Lea sighed softly at that, "Don't worry about it," reassured Lea, "you felt him and that's more then anyone has to go on," he continued, "I'm sure you'll see him soon it's only a matter of time." he added with a grin.

"Coliseum, huh, sounds good to me."

Was Sora really out there? And if he was where? Lea frowned a little, "If Sora's out there he's probably landed himself in some kind of trouble probably best to try and keep tabs on organsation 13 and even Maleficent," he said, "see if anything new is happening but we can do that later because I've got this cool new move to show you at the coliseum." laughed Lea going through the portal to Herc's world excitedly.

After malifecent walked down the halls as she pondered the current series of events. It seemed fortune had finally smiled upon her. She needed to sink her hooks deep into the girl. She hummed as the object of her obsession approached

There was no way the girl had finished her control training already it was simply impossible, completely so she sighed and opened her mouth.

“Little one, I thought you’d still be training” she said stroking the girl’s hair gently.

Kairi sighed “ I guess you’re right but it feels like we’ve been waiting too long already.” She sighed following him as they went towards the arena. “When I find him again nothing is ever gonna tear us apart” a year leaked out of one eye “I promise.” She shook her head. “I’m coming sora” she promised before entering the ante theater and registering for some fights.

Sora grinned up at Malifecent and nuzzled her head against her hand, "I've done it Mother," she replied, "I copied the heartless!" she continued excitedly, "Look!"

Moving back a little Sora opened the palms of her hands and showed Malifcent. The flames were tamed and controlled yet the flames were small and not powerful at all like before, "See I got control but it gets harder the bigger the fire gets! Should I train more Mother? I can and see how big I can go and how much I can control." she added with a smile.

Lea looked at Kairi and smiled gently as he noticed the tear falling from one of her eyes, "The more we train the stronger we'll get and the stronger we are the easier it'll be to protect Sora."

......

"Don't cry Kairi...." whispered Sora's heart, "we'll see each other soon...." continued Sora's heart, "I promise but I might be a bit different from what you know so you need to trust your heart and you'll be able to see me clearly."

Malifecent frowned “fascinating did you command them to do so” she honestly thought the meek looking girl would struggle to command or control the heartless. This was a massive improvement.

“Do you think they can teach you other spells?” She asked fascinated this could speed up her plans exponentially. I’d she could master her training quicker she could send on her first mission in weeks instead of months another set of eyes searching for that damned black box and the book of prophecies.

“You are doing wonderful darling” she told the girl earnestly praise first punishments later.

“Sora” she whispered as she felt his heart call back to her. It would be a while but she knew she’d find him no matter what.
