She hugged onto Janet who carried her into the kitchen where she was placed into a highchair. While she watched her cook she decided to find a way to get out of here. Dakota didn't care what Janet said she wanted to go home.

Janet was busy finishing up dinner when she noticed Dakota squirming in the high chair, "ah don't wiggle around dear you might tip over." she said as she looked back and pointed at Dakota, "and i don't want you getting hurt got it?" she said sternly as she turned back to the stove and continued to put the finishing touches on dinner.

From the way Janet scolded Dakota she immediately stopped squirming. She carefully watched Janet as she resumed cooking. Not knowing much about her she could have some harsh punishments if Dakota kept disobeying so she figured it was best to wait when Janet's guard was down enough to allow the girl's escape to be easier.

Janet finished making dinner and put the food onto Dakota's plate, "well i know you weren't too big a fan of your lunch, so i made you something a little more solid." she said as she set the plate down on her tray. The dish included grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and peas, and finally steamed broccoli. "Arlight let's get you nice and fed." she said tying a bib around her neck and patting Dakota's head, "now be a good girl and eat all of this up for mommy ok?" she said.

Dakota looked at the food and her eyes instantly lit up. Having solid food for dinner sounded much better than having all the mush she had earlier. Once the bib was on she placed her hands on the tray and tried to grab the chicken.

"Ah ah no no baby." she said grabbing Dakota's hands, "I'll feed you silly girl." she said as she picked up the knife and cut a piece of the chicken off and brought it up , "say ahh." she said with a smile as she held the tasty morsel in front of Dakota's mouth.

Dakota looked at the piece of chicken and drooled a little. Figuring that it was real food and not baby food she didn't care if she was still going to be fed by Janet. The girl simply opened up her mouth and waited for Janet to put the food in.

Janet put the fork and Dakota's mouth and smiled as she ate it quickly, "oh my someone is hungry" she said as she started to feed the girl the corn and peas, "veggies first though baby girl, we have to keep you healthy now." she said as she feed the girl the greens and then started with the broccoli, "now this might not be so yummy but its good for you." she said as she held up one of the pieces of broccoli for her to eat.

Dakota was a bit disappointed that she wouldn't get any chicken just yet. All she did was stare at the broccoli and kept her mouth shut. Although she would eat some vegetables she wasn't much of a big fan of broccoli. All she did was moved her head away from the vegetable every time it went near her mouth.

"Dakota, sweety you have to eat your greens or you can't have any desert." she said as she pnched the girl's nose slightly and waited till she had to take a breath before putting the broccoli in her mouth. "Chew!" she said sternly when she saw her ready to spit it out, "if not we might just have to paddle you. she said looking at her with a stern face.
