"Alfea, academy of fairy magical and magical arts. Erin Valens, daughter of a commoner family of Domino, the last witch of that world had been studying all she could at Cloud Tower and found only had parts and pieces of what she needed to learn what she wanted. So she had ventured to take classes at Red Fountain to find out what pieces they had, as she figured everything was likely divided into thirds. But finding none of what she needed, she departed and found her way to Alfea, her theory had been dashed since Red Fountain never had any magic users, aside from the headmaster. So Alfea had to have what she needed, and she was not disappointed, of course she ran across the princess of Solaria, whom Erin greatly disliked, and then there was the new girl from, where was it? Gardenia?. Ah well, it mattered little to her at first, but seeing what this girl could do made Erin pause, her magic was unlike anything she had seen before, either first hand, or in textbooks. This new magic, was wild, untamed, and almost primeval, it had fire to it, so maybe the new girl had control of flames, pyromancy, but when Erin looked the girl over, Bloom as she was later introduced. Was curious, Blooms' magic was different, it felt almost like a magic that had just been rediscovered, seemingly lost for centuries, millennia, now it was back, "It couldn't be" Erin thought, "her magic, this girl is a dragon in human form" she thought to herself. It wasn't long before Erin had her answer, it was dragon fire."

To be honest, Bloom and her friends barely gave the new girl that much thought, because of not only their own situation, but the fact that she seemed to be distant and not particularly open to them. So Erin fell between the cracks in their mind. However, that was fitting to change.

Erin would spend most of her day in the school's library where she was studying the various theories of magic, and would practice what she had learned outside on the school's grounds. She used her powers to create targets for her magic and what she had learned, she also spent many hours in the hidden library where many secrets of magic were stored.

On this particular day, Bloom happened to be walking around Alfea, lost in thought. However, she then noticed that there was a peculiar glow that seemed to be emanating from behind the walls. "That's funny," she said. "I've been just about everywhere in the school, and I've never found other hidden passages." She began to wonder if there really was something more to Alfea that she'd never found yet. Curiosity naturally got the better of her.

Erin had discovered many of Alfea's secrets during her studies, she avoided the students lest they discover she was really a witch, and was studying in the hidden chamber, meditating as she focused her magic through her illuvium crystal, which was shaped like a dragon in flight. She carefully balanced several books of magic around her, magic pouring out of them and into her as she seemingly, somehow, read all of them at once.

Bloom proceeded to try and locate the hidden passage that seemed to exist. With some careful scouting, she noticed something off about a particular brick, and made her way inside. There, she noticed the new girl, Erin, meditating and reading from several books at once. She took a good look, and was quite stunned.

Erin didn't notice Bloom had found her, it either wasn't important to her, or she didn't have the time to acknowledge her, or maybe she was simply too busy. In any case, she was just too focused on the task at hand, she was currently studying new aspects of the magics she had already mastered, and a couple of these new aspects were dangerous.

Bloom was about to find herself on the receiving end of one of them, by pure accident. She suddenly moved forward and accidentally tripped over herself, falling and of course making Erin open her eyes and snap out of her state, which inadvertently triggered a spell that she had been reading all about at that very moment.

Erin had to race to prevent any harm coming to Bloom, or any damage that would be caused to the room and or the school, this meant containing her lost spell as much as she could and putting herself between Bloom and the magical time bomb to take responsibility for the mistake and interruption. Though as best she could she had to pour all her focus into containing the magic until her containment spell was ruptured leading to whatever consequences would befall her or Bloom.

Bloom suddenly came to and looked around. "Hey...aren't you the new girl? Erin, right? I think we've run into each other once or twice." She didn't quite know that much about Erin, but now things were definitely looking strange, especially if she was studying magic that was clearly not fairy-based. She didn't realize what was happening as a warmth suddenly started blossoming on her skirt and a puddle began to form.

Erin started to clean up the mess the spell had made "I am, and I prefer to keep to myself, it's nothing against you, or the other students here. I mean, fairies gotta help one another out right? but the magic I study and handle isn't for most, I'm sorta the dangerous magic expert here, if you could call me that. I get a handle over new magics, or ones that are only in theory, so that if this school has to face it. Then I can prevent disasters, or defuse the situation" Erin says as she picked up the books to put them back on the shelves.
