Lightning Strikes Twice (private)

[Sami-Chan]

"Well, it's a good thing we do now, or else this wouldn't mean anything~." Marluxia swiftly brought Larxene into his arms and quickly, but gentally, placed his lips onto hers, keeping them their for as however long she wanted.

[Saturn_Ringer]

"!" Larxene was surprised by this at first, but her arms slowly wrapped around Marluxia, pulling him closer and holding him there as Larxene kissed back, closing her eyes.

To tell the truth, there'd been a sort of relief to losing her heart at first. Human life had held an unfair amount of heartbreak for Larxene, not the least of which included a spectacularly disastrous love life. It had seemed good to Larxene before she realized what feeling nothing was truly like to put all the emotions away. But standing here like this, feeling affection, happiness, and even love again, Larxene realized that the pain emotions could bring was nothing compared to their glory. What she had felt holding Namine in her arms, hearing her laugh, and what she was feeling now kissing Marluxia...even without a heart, Larxene was able to recognize bliss.

Larxene held Marluxia there for a very long time before almost reluctantly breaking away.

[Sami-Chan]

"Wow." Marluxia sighed, then placed his forehead on Larxene's. "I sure hope we're gonna be doing that often~. That was just as wonderful as the first one."

[Saturn_Ringer]

Larxene giggled a little.

"Gotta say I agree with ya there, Marly..." Larxene closed her eyes.

"A heart really is amazing, isn't it? We have only the memories of our human days to build feelings from, but I've never felt...happy like this before, not even when I was human."

[Sami-Chan]

"Ditto to that, my dear." Marluxia grinned, bringing Larxene into a gental hug. "You know, we should technically thank Vexen for these emotions, despite him being someone who only cares about his experiments. Without him setting this one up, we would be like this right now, you know?"

[Saturn_Ringer]

"Not gonna thank him, since he'd also take it away if he had a choice in it." Larxene huffed. She couldn't keep a straight face for long, however.

"Still, it is quite amazing that one of that idiot scientist's experiments turned out this well for us, huh?" She chuckled, shaking her head. "It'd drive him completely up the wall if he knew all that hard work would only result in us being happy while he loses his data."

[Sami-Chan]

"Heheh! I'll bet you would." Marluxia chuckled.
Being that she seemed to be being ignored, Namine squeeled loudly for a split moment to get some attention.

[Saturn_Ringer]

"!!" Larxene, perhaps due to her lightning charged body, quick reflexes, or just years of being ready to beat the crap out of anything that looked at her funny, nearly jumped a foot in the air when Namine squealed, not sure if the noise was of distress, joy, or something else. Larxene may have learned how to change a diaper already, but she still wasn't familiar with the behavior of babies and didn't even think of the possibility that Namine had just made the noise to get her attention.

Larxene quickly scurried over to Namine, romantic moment forgotten in her moment of alarm.

"Namine? What is it?" She asked, picking Namine up protectively and looking her over for any possible cause for the squeal.

Once being picked up, Namine nuzzled her head on Larxene's neck, humming happily a little. It seemed that everytime Larxene picked her up, she almost completely forgot what was bothering her, already leaving the thought of being ignored behind.

[Saturn_Ringer]

Larxene blinked, but just chuckled a little.

"Not a scratch on her...I guess she just felt left out." She said, cuddling with Namine.

She guessed that made sense; real babies needed a lot of attention and wanted even more, so Namine had probably squealed just to get Larxene focused on her again. It was a shame that it had interrupted an intimate moment and scared Larxene, but she couldn't find it in herself to be mad at Namine; the girl didn't know any better.
