"Hey, Larxene." he began. "Perhaps you should visit Vexen and ask him exactly when he plans to get Namine's heart, so we know when to think of a way to keep her like this."

"Still, a guy like Vexen tends to ask questions. What do I say if he gets curious as to why I'm so interested when the extraction takes place?"

"Just be the way you were when this all started." Marluxia suggested. "You know, the whole I-just-want-to-get-this-over-with thing. It should work like a charm, since he hasn't seen you being more affectioning with Namine yet."

"I'll go ask him. Can you hold Namine?"

She was afraid it'd undermine her trick if Namine was anywhere near her; Vexen wasn't so blind that he wouldn't notice something going on...

"Of course, m'lady." Marluxia said as he took the regressed blonde into his arms, the "m'lady" part just his way to be funny a tad bit.

"I'll be right back, then." She said, kissing Marluxia before giving Namine a kiss on the cheek.

"Be good for Daddy, sweetie..." She cooed, smiling at Namine before turning and going off in search of Vexen.

Namine waved goodbye to Larxene as she left.
Vexen was actually not doing some kind of experiment this time, which was strange, since he always was. One thing didn't change, though; he was still in his lab. Larxene never saw Vexen outside of his lab, only on rare occasions, or when meetings are called.

"Yo, Vex! I have a bone to pick with you!" She called, walking in.

Vexen sighed, now clearly annoyed that his break from his work was interupted, and looked over at Larxene. "What is it NOW number XII?" he grumbled. "If it's about Namine and how unpleasently disgusting she is, then I do not want to her it. I said before that you have to deal with whatever problems she has."

It was weird thinking about it; not too long ago, she really had thought Namine was gross in her regressed form; had exposure to her "baby"'s heart really made such an enormous difference?
