Thank you for that, its people like you that help keep people like me alive, I only volunteer for safe stuff, mostly working for little brothers, freinds for the elderly, and food pantries, I dont do alot of volunteering, but if I can work, I try to give to food pantries, and I donate most of my used stuff to the salvation army and st vinnys because those places use the profits to help those less fortunate then myself.
And I dont see it as bragging dpgirl, everyone here is talking about things they volunteer for, if any, and as far as Im concerned, if you volunteer your time, your allowed to "brag" as you called it, because for every person that volunteers their time, they touch countless other lives.
As for dan66 think of the people they have helped and saved as a volunteer firefighter, how many people would have died or been injured if it werent for dans666?.
dan6666 is a hero for doing something so dangerous, for no personal gain at all, would you risk your life to save another?, for no other reason then you think its the right thing to do?. I'd be willing to bet no, you wouldnt.
I say "geez" to you, and I think you should go read a book dpgirl, way to try to cut down someone else when they talk about something they do that helps people, how many lives have you saved?, how many fires have you put out?
