Max rubbed her eyes sniffling loudly as she cried and was taking up to her dorm room by Victoria.

Max was surprised to be dumped on her bed and watched Victoria leave, "Bitch." stated Max firmly to Victoria's retreating form hoping that the snooty popular rich girl wouldn't turn around and give her poor bottom another spanking.

Max rubbed her eyes only to look up and see Chole, "Hey! Oh? Ah! Y-yeah."

Max quickly got up and started to change out of her clothes and into new ones. She tossed her pee stained clothes to one side in her room still feeling embarrassed about what had just happened and was thankful for Chole turning around and giving her some privacy, "Really? How?" asked Max curiously and sitting down next to Chole her bottom hurting still causing her to wince, "Can't believe Victoria spanked me." grumbled Max unhappily.

Chloe smirked "were you being a brat?" She asked sarcastically unaware how common this scenario would become in the future.

"Anyway where to start" she frowned "I came here thinking I was going to be pissed but seeing you across victoria's lap I well." She frowned deeply "it made me think that's all" she said with a sigh.

"Now why don't you tell me what you've been up too?" She asked seriously.

"She started it!" whined Max, "She's been nothing but mean to me and calling me a shrimp! I called her a bitch because she was one! I swear if I had your height and strength she'd be over my lap in seconds," growled Max unhappily, "and anyway I'm not a brat!" added Max firmly pouting.

Max tilted her head and blushed, "Wait you saw all that? Why didn't you help me?" whimpered Max still upset and emotional from earlier, "Made you think? Of what?" asked Max.

Max looked at Chole and shrugged her shoulders, "Does it matter? What I want to know is what you were doing with Nathan in the bathroom earlier? He..."

Max took a deep breath to calm herself.

"You could of died he had a gun! I saw it." added Max tearfully.

Chloe sighed "I didn't know what happened between you two and thought you mightve started it." She said appologetically.

Chloe eyes flew wide open "that Creep had a gun?" Sheasked surprised "shit, look don't worry about that it was nothing" she said trying to play it off

"Now how about we talk for a bit not even a text" she said feigning a huge amount of anger she couldn't find when looking at max. Like she said seeing her acting like the bratty kid she used to be across Victoris lap put something in prespectI've for her. Max had always been this way a scared kid... and if she had stayed in Arcadia bay she would've been dragged into all of chloe bad habits and fights and...

She couldn't see the innocence in the girl's eyes surviving that. HaveING max apologise and grovel for a bit would do her some good however.

Max sighed, "Whatever."

Max clearly wasn't in a good mood at all with the knowledge that Chole had been there and did nothing to help her out of such a bad situation but they weren't exactly best friends now giving everything.

Were they even friends? She didn't know.

"Yes and don't tell me not to worry!" snapped Max, "I saw you die damn it! You... it...argh! I don't know how to even explain any of this! It's so stupid." whined Max looking at Chole, "Look this is going to sound crazy but you have got to trust me please!" begged Max, "I know that you probably hate my guts for leaving you and not sending you anything or even calling you but I did write or tried to write but I didn't know what to say but anyway! Please believe me Chole when I say this! That I saw you die and I did something! I rewinded time and saved you! Please believe me!" cried Max sobbing into Chole's chest now, "I'm sorry for being a jerk and a bad friend I'll understand if you hate me." sobbed Max her voice sounding more like a child than a college student.

Chloe sighed watchin gn max get upset was soberin for her. She sighed gently pulling the small girl in for a hug. "Hey no one could hate you" she cooed gently the girl was getting hysterical "look at me. I know why you did what you did" she sighed "you were scared and when you get scared you run and hide" she said squeezing her shoulders "and that's okay I promise to try aND forgive you if you promise to never dissappear on me again"

"Now time travel can you prove it?" She asked excitedly.

Max sniffled against Chole not believing her at all, "Yeah sure." whimpered Max as she listened to Chole and looked up at her blue haired best friend.

Max looked away feeling ashamed that she had gotten so afraid she was such a scardy cat but she knew that she had to change her ways now and become more active.

She couldn't hurt Chole like that again.

Max nodded rubbed her eyes, "I promise." replied Max wanting to be good for Chole and not fuck things up for them.

Max thought for a moment about it before seeing a football hit someone in the head and a couple of other things happen outside her window, "Yeah okay I can prove it also write down five different words now and I'll take a look before rewinding alright?" stated Max sniffling still.

Once the writing was done Max got ready and and started to reverse time another month shredding off her age and body.

"Okay a football is going to hit that girl over there, a bird is going to land on that tree and paint is going to drop down onto the floor." stated Max moving away from the window.

"Your also going to write five words down."

Watching the pen Max smirked and started saying each word the moment Chole begin to write, "Do you believe me now?" asked Max with a small grin.

"What the hell max" she whispered stunned her friend had proven it but then it raised another question " how come you didn't use it when Victoria was tanning your backside?" She got a call on her phone.

"I have to get home max are you going to be okay here?" She Asked Worried Victoria was Still Around. Afree chloe left max had a but of a weird experience.

A girl from the vortex club ran Into Her And appologized profisely Looking a bit Scared Victoria was Sitting On A Bench Not Far Off Doing homework surrounded by her friends.

Max smirked a little enjoying the fact that she had managed to prove to Chole that she had the ability to rewind time it made her feel good..

Max sighed, "I did but it didn't work I don't know why though? I think something else could be going on maybe but I don't know? It's just weird." replied Max softly as she watched Chole answer her phone and frowned a little that her and Chole couldn't hang out some more.

Max nodded, "I'll be fine and anyway you sounded serious on the phone is hate to get you into trouble so go don't worry about me."

Max walked outside with Chole to see her off only for moments later to have a girl from the Vortex club run into her causing her to nearly fall, "Ow," said Max rubbing her shoulder hurt, "it's okay why are you in such a rush anyway?" asked Max glancing a little over at Victoria, "Shouldn't you be over there fawning over Victoria?"

The girl seemed nervous "I have to go" she muttered running off. It was odd too see someone look genuinly scared for a simple mistake even Nathan disn't seem interesed in picking on her rn. VictorIA likely had something to do with it.

Chloe went home fought with her step dad and ate a rather quite didnner where she told them about max being back in town.
