Michael looked down into the ditch, seeing Sarah and the state she was in after her tumble. "Yeah, I can help you out," He replied, stooping down and reaching out to her, offering her a hand up. Though the ground was still soft from where he was at, the grass and roots offered some grip to Michael for him to help Sarah up with. He was blushing darkly as he saw how muddy Sarah was...

Holding on to her bike with one hand, Sarah reached out and took his with her other. The grip was a bit slippery from the mud on her fingers, but she held on tightly.
Once up, she was able to inspect the damage. Her shirt was fairly okay, stained very badly on the bottom hem but better near the top. Arms and sleeves were coated, but it was her skinny jeans that really took the hit. She wasn't wearing a belt, so quite a lot had gone down the back of them, as well as a slick coat from the back of the waist down to her shoes. Speaking of her shoes, one was missing.
"Still wanna get that soda?" She asked, unperturbed.
(I'm not gonna lie, after trying it out in our last role play I'm convinced. Mud is fun!)

Michael giggled a bit, his face still rather red; seeing this cute girl all covered in mud got him a bit flustered for some reason. "If you really want to," He said, smiling warmly at Sarah; she was definitely quite the funny one. "Maybe I could take you out for a bit of shopping afterwards? Looks like you could use some new shoes... and maybe some pants..."

"Yeah, probably," Lexie said, raising her leg a bit to inspect the damage. A bit of mud slipped out of the bottom of tge pant leg, and she made a face. "Blech, it feels like I crapped my pants. Let's definitely go shopping after." She confirmed. "And... let's just walk the rest of the way.

Michael giggled a bit at Sarah's comment. "I agree, let's just walk from here on out," He said as he picked up his bike from the ground, "Last thing we need is another tumble like that." Once again, he was a bit surprised; she was actually going to go out looking like that! Then again, Michael really liked that about her.

Sarah smiled and nodded, walking along with a splosh-tap-splosh-tap sound of her muddy foot and heavy boot tapping on the ground. Her bike spun next to her, wheels turning slowly as she walked it along.
Grabbing a free newspaper from a stand before they walked in, she then spread them out on the booth they got. Sitting down, she said, "So what're you ordering? I'm kinda hungry, I might get some fries."

Michael slid into the booth, sitting across from Sarah. "I'll probably get myself a burger," He replied, "I'm a bit hungry myself." He tried to think of a topic to talk about with her, but he kept fixating on Sarah's messy state. "S-So... certainly some rainy weather we've had lately," He said, his blush starting to return. 'Yeah, talk about the weather Michael; that will REALLY get her attention...'

Sarah giggled a bit, making a showy motion to squish about in her seat and call attention to the mud. "Really? I thought all this was because of the drought!" It was gentle teasing of course, but she still was trying to get him to blush a bit. He was shy in a cute way, and she thought he was even cuter when he didn't know what to say.

Michael fidgeted a bit, his blush quickly growing as he heard the mud squish around in her seat; she really knew how to get him flustered! He tried to keep the conversation going, obviously very distracted by the sounds of the mud. "Hehe, y-yeah," He said, giggling nervously.

They were interrupted by the waitress. "Yeah, two burgers, two floats, and a large fry," Sarah told her, turning back to Orion. "Betcha a dollar I can eat my burger in one bite," she told him. Clearly, she was a girl who liked challenges. "Loser buys dinner?"
