"Um... N-not right now..." He said reaching for the bottle again

She nodded, letting Leo take the bottle. She liked feeding him the bottle herself, but she didn't want to stomp out all of Leo's independence or rather his sense of independence. She'd let him suckle from it for as long as he needed.

The boy gladly took the bottle back and happily drank it all down.
"Ah!" He sighed in contentment as he pulled it away. His belly filled with warm milk instantly putting him in a better mood for some reason.

"Feeling better?" She asked. "Do you wanna play for a bit or did you want me to read you a story?" She said softly. She'd do whatever Leo wanted, within reason of course. She wouldn't go let him travel to a whole new cursed dimension or anything crazy like that.

"How about hide and seek?" She stood up and set Leo on the floor. "You can hide first, and I'll seek." She offered. She knew the castle like the back of her hand and if Leo got lost while seeking, she could find him quickly. She also knew most, if not all, of the good hiding places. He wouldn't get himself lost in a place Elise couldn't find him.

Leo smiled and ran off, his diaper crinkling loudly as he did so, as he went around looking for a place to hide. The childish spark of excitement returning to his eye as he did so. And after a quick second of looking he hid behind a curtain, his little feet sticking out

Elise smiled as she counted down. She could hear Leo's diaper from a mile away. She finished, announcing "Ready or not. Here I come!" She went to where she heard Leo run off too. She immediately noticed the two little feet sticking out. Smiling she walked around that area. "Where oh where could Leo be?" She said dramatically.
