Princess Cadence was waiting at the Crystal Empire train station, having found a moment between listening to her citizens concerns and resolving them quickly to welcome her sister-in-law and fellow princess. She had received word from the other princesses that Twilight had been flaunting her power a little and needed to be brought down a peg or two.

Twilight stepped off the train into the Crystal Empire. Cadance was waiting for her patiently once she stepped off the train. She smiled and ran up to Cadance, giving her a big up. "Cadance! I missed you..." She said, getting back down on all fours. "How's the Crystal Empire been lately?"

"I have been doing well, just dealing with some issues with the citizens, so how have you been?" Cadence asks as she starts to lead Twilight towards the castle. "Twilight, aren't you forgetting something?" She asks as she notices that Twilight wasn't dragging her suitcase along.

Twilight smiled happily though. "That's good. Ponyville's been pretty good since I set up a few new laws to deal with so criminals in the area. But that's good!" She said, blushing and using her magic to grab her suitcase. "T-thanks for that. I'm a bit tired."

"What kind of laws? Nothing too serious I hope." Cadence asks, trying to make small talk as the castle became visible, she hadn't really been given much detail of the events that had concerned the other princesses.

"Oh nothing major, but we had to tighten up some trespassing laws and then up the tax codes bu about .2%, which so far nopony has complained about." She relied, making her way to the castle with Cadance. "I did raise a small guard too. Only....ten ponies?" SHe said, shrugging a bit.

"Isn't that a bit much just for yourself? And do you think a new tax is fair, you need to think of your subjects." Cadence says as she opens the door to the castle for Twilight, waiting for her to go in.

"Hey I asked the mayor about a tax and she's the one who decided what the tax would be and how much....the guard also serves the entire town. I only keep one stationed at my castle and usually the guard doesn't even have to do much. They've made one arrest on the last four months." She replied, taking a deep breath. "Being a princess is hard."

"Yes it is, but you shouldn't go around flaunting it like a schoolfilly with new ribbons." Cadence stresses, making sure Twilight was following her. "Twilight, over here now! Or do I need to start holding your hoof?" Cadence says a bit louder than she had intended.

Twilight blushed a bit as Cadance called for her. "Sorry... I've been trying to keep up with a lot of the surrounding towns and it's made me rather tired." She replied, feeling like a foal. "You're kinda taking on your foalsitter tone...that reminds me of when I was a filly."
