Looking for Answers in the Wired

She tensed at first when she touched her but then soon relaxed as soon as she started humming. She buried her head into her chest again wrapping her legs and arms around her. "I I I was back with them"She whimpered trying to exsplain why she was upset. "They were were hurting gran grandma and grandpa again and then then he wa.......was hurting and tou....touching me"She stutered and then bruied her head into her again some mroe tears coming. That was the bravest Lily has ever got when it came to telling people about her parents

"Who, who was hurting you Lily?" Margaret quieried, then she saw how Lily was essentially breaking down, turning into a sobbing puddle. "Its okay, you don't have to tell me, you're safe now, I'm here, no one can hurt you anymore." She spoke clearly, firmly, but earnestly, wanting to make sure the girl understood. "You are safe, Lily."

the last words she said for the night were "My my parents." After that she just curled into her arms crying. After about half a hour she started to clam down properly but was very tiered and still didn't want to be away from her. She really needed to get cleaned up and changed.

Margaret was appalled. Her parents had done this to her! She felt sickened, and angry, and sad and a lot of other things, but mostly she just felt bad for Lily, her poor pretty little friend. "I'm sorry Lily, but I promise, you're safe."

It took quite a while before Lily finally calmed down. Margaret stood up and lifted her from the bed. "Come on sweetie, we need to get you cleaned up." She carried the girl to the bathroom and set her down in the tub. "Let me help you undress."

Lily clung to her and nodded. she buried her head in her neck as she carried her like a small child. When she said help her undress she nodded but was still clinging to her showing her she didn't want her to go. She was very sleepy and her eyes were all most shut as she never gets much sleep and with the alcholl in her system she was sleepyer.

As she was undressed all her scars were now showing. There was a huge one from the top of her neck down to her back, one on her tummy, some on her writs, many tiny cuts on her privates and a large one from her ass to half way down her leg. She also had somecigert burns on her her parents had given her when they used her as a human ash tray.

The scars made the feeling of rage and horror rise once more, tall like a mountain. It was just sickening, looking at the girls beautiful body covered with scars, knowing someone had chosen to mark her up. It was like fire running through her veins, and venom in her stomach. She took a calming breath and turned on teh warm water. "You just sit there for a moment Lily and I'll be right back"

She stepped out of the room and began to breathe. In 1,2,3,4 out 1,2,3,4 slowly, calming herself down, letting the fire and disgust leave. Lily needed her now. She would deal with the parents who had done...that, to their daughter later. She took a moment to strip the sheets off the bed. She carried the bundle out into the hall, and dropped it down the chute to the laundry room.

Returning to the bathroom she found the water nearly full and stopped it. She took up the soap and wet it, then started making a lather. "Just relax Lily, I'll clean you up."

Lily whimpered when she left. She satretd thinking she left because of how hideous her body is. She whimpered but as soon as she came back reached out for her and relaxed once she was holding her hand. She did as she said and relaxed but started to fall asleep in the tub. she was quickly cleaned up and picked up out of the tub. She curled into her as she was wrapped in a towl and driffted off again.

As Margaret towled the girl dry she noted that she'd already fallen asleep. She carried the girl back to the bedroom and laid her on the floor. Going ot the closet she quickly produced some new sheets which she spread across the bed, it wasn't the neatest job but it would do for tonight. Then she pulled out a new quilt. Bed made she turned to her next problem.

Lily lay in the towel, it was still warm with the bathwater but would get cold soon. She tried to think if she had any other clothes for the girl to wear. Well, there were some down in the basement guest room, but she didn't feel up to opening that room and facing its memories, not after the brutal night had already had.

Instead she took on of her t-shirts out of drawer, it was a fairly soft thing, a bit loose on her. She slipped in on Lily, who was small enough it was almost a dress, save the bulge in the chest. Then she lifted the small girl and returned her to the bed. She sat beside her for a few moment, thinking. She had to do somthing about the girls parents. She felt like hunting them down and then breaking every bone in their bodies. She resolved that she'd start on it tommorow. It would be one of the many things she'd have to take care of with her new girl. Turning the light off she once more crawled into bed and wrapped her arms around her date. Tommorow was going to be a big day.

The next morning Lily woke up with an incredibly sore head. She growned and rolled over and blushed when she saw a sleeping mArget. She then remebered eveything that happened last night. "Fuck"She said to herself but accidentl woke the other woman up.

She looked at her shyly for a momment before looking dwon. "I am really sorry about last night I will leave now sorry for all the trouble I cause you and thank you for taking care of me I won't bother you again miss." She said formaly feeling like she didn;t have the right to call her by her name. She got up shyly looking down. She didn't want to be a way from her but she thought she wouldnt wnat to be around her any more.

Margaret blinked sleepily. "Morning Lily." The girl was saying somthing, about leaving...wait what! Suddenly wide awake Margaret surged forward and grabbed Lily's arm. "No nononono, no." She shook her head to shake off the last of the sleep. "Sorry, but no, I don't want you to leave Lily. I want you to stay."

She released her grip on the girls arm, worried she might have hurt her, got out of the bed and stood stretching. "I promised you breakfast last night, remember?" She came over to Lily's side of the bed. "Come on, we can make it together, it will be fun. And then after breakfast I'd like to talk to you about stuff, but first lets eat."
