Looking for Answers in the Wired

Lily looked shocked by her reaction and then a little worried. She gave her her momment thinking she might wanna be alone for a sec. She then packed up her teddy, her diary, her photo album, some old home movies, some cloths and picked up soem hand wahs.

She came up behind her and handed her the hand wash "Hay relax sorry about that if you don't like something say ok this is a two way street if I'm being honest with you you have to tell me things ok"She said sounding very mature and hugged her close and rubbed her back trying to comfort her. She had all her stuff in one bag. "I have my stuff so is it the mall next?" She asked "Or maybe you wnat a break?"

Margaret jumped when Lily came up behind her. She then blushed in embarassment, usually she didn't get surprised like that, but the rats had really shook her up. That embarassed her further, letting a few rats effect her so much. She gratefully accepted the handwash and enjoyed Lily's hug as she scrubbed her hand.

"Yeah, you're right Lily. I need to be honest with you too, its only fair." She finished scrubbing up her hands and started wiping them off. "Well, in case you didn't guess, I don't like dirty things in general. And I'm, well I'm kinda scarred of rodents." She shrugged. "Its silly, I don't have a problem with like spider or bugs. I once had a bat fly into my window and I had to catch him and take him back outside. I used to catch frogs as a kid, I've even handled a few snakes."

She shook her head. "But rats and mice just really bother me for some reason. I don't really know why, but they are so gross and nasty and...well I just don't like them." She smiled at Lily. "Thanks for being so understanding. Yeah lets go to the mall."

As she started the car she glanced at the things Lily gathered. "Is that all?" She began pulling out of the parking lot.

"Hay it's fine hun"She said and kissed her cheek "It's kinda cute means I can be your big tough girlfirned and handel any rats that wander our way"She giggled liking the idea of that. "I'm scared of the dark I can't judge people for having fears yours is far more rashonal than mine"She said and kissed her softly.

"Yeah I left two changes of cloths at my place and with these I will now have two at yours"She said which showed her girlfirned she only her 4 diffrent full out fits. In her ag she had alos packed the tourch her grandfather gave her years agao which she uses as a night light when she wakes up from nightmares.

When they got to the mall Lily because rather self conusous of her underwear. "Um you can't tell what I'm wearing...underneth right?" She asked shyly

"Hey I can handle rats, with a shotgun and a very large set of tongs." Margaret joked. She wondered if should mention that there was a nightlight in the guest room. Tansy hadn't been afraid of the dark, but it had gone with her love of childish things. Well, she'd let Lily make up her own mind about it, it was going to be her room, and mentioning it might make the girl feel insulted.

"Out of curiosity how many outfits can I buy you before I run into the prohibition against spoiling you?" Margaret quieried. "And no they can't see your undies, they're desiegned to be concealed, you're fine. Shall we go in?"

"Ummmmm 7 any more than 7 you have went into the relem of spoling me. You really don't need to get me anything so 7 is over kill in itself"She said.

She nodded and shyly got out holding her hand and walked into the busy mall with her. "Where first?" She aksed

"Lily, I know I don't have to get you anything, I want to get you some stuff." Margaret thought for a moment. "Only seven outfits? Oh how disapointing." An idea struck her. "Okay, well I'm to choose all the stores, but we'll shop at a few that carry womens pants and shorts and the like." She figured if she let Lily choose any stores she'd try to go to one of the bargain outlet stores or some other place like that, which would go against the whole 'spending money on her girlfriend' idea.

"And I'll let you pick out any three outfits you want, and I'll buy them. I'll also buy three outfits I want, and the last outfit will be somthing we both agree on. Sound like fun?" She smiled brightly at her friend. "As for the first store, how about here to start with?" She gestured to the store "High Fliers Gear". It was known for selling casual clothes, but high quality expensive casual clothes.

Lily huffed and pouted "Are you just wanting to dress me up"She said half laughing. She sighed "Fine"She said and went in with her.

Lily had never been in exspenive shops like this.She was looking around like a cureous child.

"Yes I do want to dress you up." Margaret replied without a trace of shame. "I have a cute girlfriend, I want to see her in pretty outfits."

"If you see anything you like you can just grab it, and we'll go to the changing room so you can try them on in a few minutes." She was walking over to look at dresses. "By the way, what's you size actually?"

"It's rude to ask a gilr there size and don't go thinking you will get me in a dress missy"She siad

"Oh come on, don't you want to look pretty. You have such a nice body and such a pretty face, you should show it all off more." Margaret pleaded. "Besides its not like you'll have to wear it all the time."

She held up an attractive blue and black dress with a knee length skirt and short sleeves. "Don't you think you'd look lovely in this?"
