Lily went into a little day dream of her own as she read hers. Clam down Lily just because she is a romantic don't get your head in the clouds she thought. Lily acted kinda butch but she was a sucker for romance.

Um well I do a lot of pencil stuff and some cartoon stuff to basically anything mostly just stupid stuff to vent really I'm not very good

I'm really not pretty bileve me

Um my dreams I don't know I guess just to be happy. I guess I would like to have some kinda stable family of shorts or even just close friends. Ha the unliklyhood of that ever happening to me probably makes it a fantasy . I really want to go to university but I need to work I don't have any savings or anything to afored to work part time while I go to uni.

I guess I fantasies about just being wanted



She sent that but was very nervous she opened up quite a bit there and also showed how little confidence she had in herself.

Magaret raised an eybrow. The girl was either nervous, modest, or had low self esteem.

I think you're pretty, I've seen your picture.

I'm sorry you can't go to college, but it can be quite expensive.

I think Wanting to be wanted is a fine dream. To quote an old song lyric, people who need people are the luckiest people in the world. And don't give up hope on finding people who care about you, the world is made for people to find each other.

Margaret waited with anticiaption for the reply.

Your just being sweet I'm really not pretty. I'm nothing compared to you anyway.I would love to talk to you some more just message me when ever you like it was really nice talking to you. I'm working tomwrow but I will talk tomwrow night. Hope you have a nice night *hugs*

She sent the mesage and smiled laying back on her bed happily.

Margaret sat back and began to think. This next move could go very well or spectacularly wrong. She planned to meet Lily at her work and that would either be a flattering romantic moment, or it would make the girl uncomfortable and skitish.

Pretending it was just a coincidence didn't seem a good idea. She figured it would be best to be honest, just be careful not to seem pushy or over-eager. Yes that would work best, with a girl like Lily it would be best to let Lily come to her. And if she played things right that should be easy, Lily was clearly lonely and wanted to be wanted. And Margaret wanted her.

She crawled into bed and curled up, dreaming about a masquerade ball and a girl who looked like Lily and wanted to stay with her after the dance.

Lily relaxed for a bit thinking about the posabilities meeting this new girl....no she was a woman she was so much more strong but caring than anyone Lily had met before. She kept reminding herself this would probly come to nothing though.

She went to bed and cuddled up with her teddy and sucked her thumb two bad habits she had never been able to brake. She woke up at 5am from a nightmare of her parents as always but then got up and showered. She didn't eat brekfast as she couldn't afored do so just got dressed in her black skinny jeans and cute white shirt that was a little big on her. She headed to work and put on the red aprin which was too long for her and constanl;y caused her to trip up.

Her boss was a old guy called Rich he was really hard on his staff and knew that Lily had very little money and used this as a way to get her to work harder.

Lily was just working hard as always. It was around 1 and the coffee shop and it was busy as hell. Then all of a sudden she saw her out side about to head into the store but before she could even think on it someone walked right into her casing her to fall flat on her space and smash the burning hot mug of coffee.

"You little ideot" Rich yelled picking her up by the colra of her shirt. "I'm sorry sir"He said to the man who bumped into Lily.

Lily had a few burns from the coffee and a cut on her hand. "R Rich sir I will pay for that and clean it up."She sturtered kinda scared not of him hurting her as she knew he wouldn't hurt her nearly as bad as her parents did but she needed her pay.

"Yeah you will and for the rest opf the week you are doing over time with no pay and if there is one more fuking break in here I don't care if you did it or not you wont get payed this month!"He yelled shaking her.

"Pl please I need the money"She stutered in fear trying hard to hold back tears she kenw ncever to cry as it would only make her seem weaker.

Margaret got an unexpected call from a client in the morning. She spent the whole morning on the phone listening to their problems and giving advice. Eventually everything was solved, but it was already past noon.

Hopefully Lily would still be there, she'd said she worked the morning shift, Margaret was no expert bu she was pretty certain that would include lunch too. Oh well, if not she could have lunch at the shop and try again some other day.

She dressed in causal outfit, comfy blue pants and a white shirt. No need to look to formal going into a coffee shop. a few sprits of perfume, and a touch of makeup, she was trying to make an impression afterall, and she was one her way.

Arriving at the coffee shop Margaret reflected it had been quite some time since she last ate here. She wondered why. The place was pretty busy, she reflected this was hardly ideal meeting conditions. But she'd already come out here, no point leaving now.

She walked in and glanced around for a table. Almost immediatly she heard a crash, and turned. there was a girl on the floor, surounded by broken glass and coffee. The manager came over and immediatly picked her up by the colar of his shirt and started shouting at the top of his lungs.

Margaret was appaled, here was a man roaring like a lion and by the look of him about to take a bite out of the poor girl. She felt the need to intervene. "Excuse me, but put that girl down, you're going to hurt her." She tried to start off non-confrontational, no need to escalate the situation.

"Ma'am I will handel my staff how ever I like"He said firmly but politly.

Lily looked up at her in shock. It is her she thought.She shoke her head not wanting her to interveen incase she got hurt she knew she wouldn't but still she didn't wnat to risk it. "It's fine"She whimpered out slightly.

"Shut up!"He yelled and flung Lily to the floor . Lily let out a yelp landing on the broken mugh but held back her tears

"You call this display of barbaric behavior handling your staff." Margarets voice was stony. This man apparently looked on the staff as his property to do with as he saw fit. "Let me make this clear, since you obviously don't understand, treating a young women like that is not appropriate or acceptable, no matter that she works for you or what she did, and its not legal either. Stop it now or I'll call the police." Actually if he struck the girl again she'd probably lose her temper and try to break his arm, but the police threat would likely frighten him more.

She walked over to where the girl had fallen and started to help her to her feet. It was then she realized it was Lily. She felt embarassed not to have recognized her before, and enraged to see her so fouly treated. There were glass cuts on her arms and her hand looked badly burned. Margaret kept careful control of her temper, wouldn't do to fly off the handle and beat the manager into the ground, that would only frighten Lily, who was upset enough as it is. "You're badly hurt dear, we should get you to a doctor, now." That would be best, remove the girl from the bad situation and get her medical treatment. That should be her first priority, the despicable man wasn't as important as tending to the girl.

"Fine bitch your fiered"Rich said to Lily and walked off. Lily just sat there looking devasated. What will I do now I have no money ?!she thought.

Lily tensed at first when she touched her but then reilzied reilizing it was her. She had enevr been touched so softly. She shoke her head weekly and stoof up., She was very very dizzy as she hit her had when she fell. "No no I'm ok I need to go beg for my job back can't affored a doctor"She whimpered softly but put on a strong face but then she basicaly fell into her and mumbeld a "S sorry"and could barly keep her eyes open.

"Oh my...You are in terrible shape. You need to be looked at bad. Come on I'll drive you, and I'll pay." Margaret half supported half carried Lily out of the diner and to her car. As she loaded the girl into the passenger seat Margaret reflected this was most assuredly not how she'd pictured her surprise visit to her online dating partner going.

As she drove to the doctors office she looked over Lily. The girl was in pretty bad shape, she must have been hurt bad in the fall. Hopefully it wasn't anything permanent. The hospital was fairly small, but it had a good staff. Margaret carried Lily into the emergency room. She noticed that the girl had some nasty scars on her body, which she carefully hid using her clothing. "Lily, are you still with me, I'm going to get you some help." She queried nervously.
