Margaret paused in thought for a moment. "Christmas turkey, steak, pot roast, chilli, ice cream cake, rhubarb pie...well, I don't know if its the foods so much as I associate them with special occasions. I suppose my favorite food is apples, since I eat those and things with them in it all the time. I also am partial to sandwiches at lunchtime." Margaret shrugged. "Guess I don't have a single fave, although now I'm in a mood for apples so lets get some while we're here." She pointed to the fruit section.

While they were gathering produce she asked. "So how about you Lily, any favorites besides pasta? While we're on it, what fruit do you want?"

"Oh I love apples what syour favorute kinda I like pink ladies."She said smiling. "Um I really really like lemon and orange but mostly just in other things. Um I love some nice crunshy bread I have basicaly lived off bread for the last few years I think its the only thing that stopped me from being a skeliton." This is true as thats to bread Lily is curvy she had her cubby bits but all in all it looks more like puppy fat from when she was little which neever went away.

"For eating I like Gala or Red delicous, for baking I like McIntosh apples and gold delicous, and I like granny smith for sauces and I also like white wine made from graven stein apples, in fact I still have a bottle at home." Margaret smiled as she shared her apple preferences, collecting several varities, some for them to eat and some to use to cook later.

"Bread and cheese. Well alright, the dairy section is down here just a ways, and we can get some nice cheeses." Margaret finsihed loading on produce and led her friend to the next section. " Lets see, I usually get reduced fat milk, any paticular favorite types of cheese Lily? I like chedder and swiss allot personally. I've never tried cheese strings but I know they have some if you want."

"That sounds nice but I'm not a white wine fan mostly just red"She said smiling.

"Yeah I rather low fat milk to. Oh your lucky chese strings arr horribel proseesed stuff you want the real stuff"She said. She looked at all the cheses she picked out a mature cheded for eating alone as it was a over powering tast and some lighter stuf for sandwitches and stuff. "This ok?" She asked

"They look fine to me. Hmmm, some butter too while we're here." She picked up the crock and put it in the cart. "I think that's everything for here, next we'll do bread." She led Lily over to the bread section. "Okay crunchy, well I think this brand is crunchy, and ohhh look, raising bread, I like that." She put the raisen bred in the the cart and held out the other loaf to Lily. "Is this the right kind for you?"

Alround the supper market it was all christmass decorations. Lily loves the feeling of christmass but has never really serabrated it. She just reilized she would need to get Marget a gift soon. Lily kept looking around all the pretty lights in wonder

"Its a fine kind of bread. I think there are lots of good breads out there, depending on..." Margaret notice Lily looking at the light all around them. "They've had those up since just after halloween, they didn't even bother with thanksgiving stuff. But I guess they're pretty."

She quirked her head to the side and looked at Lily. "Sweetie, do you like christmas, I mean do you celebrate it, I mean....you know what I mean." Margaret tripped over her own tonge.

She shock her hed a little. "I have never celabrated it but I always really wanted to. "She said. She shivered at her memory of past christmass her parents getting more drunk and telling her that santa wouldnt come to her because she wi a bad worthless girl. The only nice christmas memory she had was making ginger bread men with her grandma.
