Looking for Answers in the Wired

"Okay, cool. Now this next part won't take to long first we need to go through the menu's." She held up coppies of the fairly land breakfast, dinner, deserts and drinks menus. "I don't expect you to remember everything, but as long as you have a general idea to start with it should be easy to learn what everything so you can answer questions, make suggestions, ect." She then quickly went over the menu with Lily, giving her a genral overview of what foods were served when, and pointing out items that were unusual or which took especially long to make. "By the way, do you prefer breakfast or dinner shifts Lily? I mean, you'll have to do both eventually, but I usually try to start my girls out on jsut one so its easier to learn."

Lily took note of what she said and nodded along happily. She then smiled and said. "Um the morning shift would work best I'm a early riser."She said smiling thinking it would give her something to do in the mornings and it meant she would have the evenings with Marget.

"Alright. Then take the breakfast menu home with you and study it some. It will be helpful to be familiar with the menu when you first arrive for work." Trina handed her the menu. "Now the last part, I'll show you around the restaurant, introduce you to the cooks, show you where everything is, and then I'd like you to take a seat in the main room and just watch the other waitresses, well waitress, as apart from me only annie, I mean high priestess buttercup, is on right now. But you just watch her work, pay attention to what she does for a little while, just to see what its like."

Trina paused a moment. "Oh, a few things you should know. You get two ten minute coffee breaks plus one 25 minute lunch break, and a free meal plus free beverages while working, although with our slow business and the owner only using the place as a tax loophole, you can get away with additional breaks or food most days as long as you don't go nuts. Arrive at least twenty minute early so you have time for hair and costume, although on your first day make it thrity minutes. Any questions?"

"Nop that all sounds fine"She siad. She then went and sat and watched them work while reading over the morning menue

It was after about thrity minutes of this that the door opened. A girl about Lily's age entered and spoke to Trina. "Ah, here for you paycheck Abbey? Its in the back I'll run get it for you." Trina left on the errand and the girl looked around, before sighting Lily and doing a double take. "Lily?" She whispered as if in recognition.

Lily's eyes widened as she saw the girl she had been in love with since she was 11 years old. Abby. She was butaful to Lily. She was only a little taller than her and had a short cute hair cut tan skin and a very womanly shape. She had always understood Lily in evey way and made her feel loved and welcome but sadly she was straight.

"Abby?"Lily gasped

"Lily, it is you?" Abby walked slowly over to her table, looking stunned. "Oh my god, I can't believe its you." Her face slowly took on a stunned smile at the sight of her friend. "After you left I thought I'd never see you again."

Lily couldnt help it she had missed her so much forteggting about being profeshonal she flung herself at her hugging her tightly. "I have missed you"She whispered then blushed acting so pafetic and childish around her

Abby hugged her friend back. "I missed you to Lily, I was really worried about you, wondering if you were doing alright. And here you turn up at my restaurant wearing the clothes I gave you last time we were together." She giggled at the coincidence of it all.

Lily smiled at her. "Yeah I love this out fit um I'm so sorry I left the way I did I was scared my parents would question you bu eveything has been fine...well it wasnt for a while but it's fine now....I um met someone"She siad smiling and blushing
