"That's really nice Lily. I'm glad for you." Abby replied.

At that point Trina returned with a small evelope. "I found your check Abby...oh, do you two know each other?" She said when she noticed the two sitting together.

Abby explained that they had been friends once but hadn't seen each other in a long time. "That's nice for the two of you. Lily here is going to be our knew girl" She said to Abby before turning to Lily "And Abby is our top waitress, Countess Rhoslyn. I was planning on having her help you out on your first day, so I guess you'll get a chance to see each other. Well I'll leave you two to talk, oh, and Lily, your first shift starts at seven, two days from now, but like I said come in early." With that she left them.

Margaret was looking around the house. She'd been able to finish with her client quickly so she had come home to check on her surprise for Lily.

Margaret had hired a decorating company to put up some holiday decorations in her house. One plastice mid sized tree with lights, wreaths and ribbons on the walls, mistletoe, and that was just what had been set up so far.

It had been expensive, but she figured Lily was worth it, and she wanted to do somthing for the girl, for their first Christmas. She wanted it to be special, somthing memorable. And she wanted Lily to be happy, seeing the girls sad eyes when she talked about her past made her want to do everything in the world to fix it. She couldn't wait to show it all to Lily.

So when she got a text that Lily wouldn't be coming home but was hanging out with an old friend she was just a bit disapointed. When it occured to her that this old frined must be the one Lily had spoken about wiht love in her voice earlier, it made her just a bit jealous. So she texted back a quick 'Okay Sweetie, call me if you need a ride.' And then she told the decorators to keep working and went back to her own work, trying not to feel worried.

Around 10pm Lily came in the house with a huge smile on her face. She had hung out with Abby for hours having a great time. She had fotgoten how mcuh she missed her. "I'm home"She called out

Margaret greeted her. "Hi sweetie." She pecked her on the cheek. "You're kinda late, I thought I asked you to let me know if you're going to be out late?" She was annoyed, she had been a little worried about Lily, but didn't want to upset her again. Moreover, she didn't want to act to hostile to Lily spending time with her friend. She kept telling herself over and over that there was no point being jealous, and that she was most definently not threatened in any way by Lily having other friends. She hoped that keeping it repeating would eventually make it true.

"Um no I havent eaten yet thansk fro savings stuff for me"She said. "Oh it went great a bit awkwered but great I start in two days with the morning shift"She then then entered the mair area of the house and her eyes went wide seeing the christmas stuff "Did you do this?" She asked with a huge smile and hugged her tightly.
