Later that very same day, Belle's train pulled into the station of the castle town. She was awed at how beautiful the German countryside could be. It was just as lovely as the French countryside.

"Nervous, Your Highness?" Fifi asked as they train came to a standstill.

"A little," the brunette admitted, "I'm expected to represent both Adam and the entirety of France."

"You'll do fine," the maid assured the princess, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"I know," Belle remarked, giving a little sigh. "Still, I wonder what this summit might hold."

She soon disembarked the train with her maid and bodyguards, and it was not long before they had their luggage and were making their way to the castle.

The French delegation arrived at King Stefan's castle. Heralds exchanged formalities, and Princess Belle was introduced.

Sitting beside her father's throne, Aurora was so excited and nervous as the proceedings began that she actually wet her diaper a little. Outwardly, though, she maintained her composure completely. Soon the formal introductions were over, and it was time for Aurora to fulfill a specific role, one she had been looking forward to.

The fact that the French delegation was the first to arrive, and the only one expected on this first day, made it that much easier.

Aurora rose from her place beside King Stefan's throne and stepped down from the royal dias to greet Princess Belle in a more personal manner.

"Welcome, Princess Belle," she said, curtsying graciously. "I am Princess Aurora, daughter of King Stefan. It will be my pleasure to show you to your room and make sure you are comfortable and well accommodated after your journey."

Belle got through her presentation and introduction to the king easily enough. All throughout the ceremony, she could not help but notice how close in age the king's daughter appeared to be to her.

At the ceremony's end, when the German princess approached her, Belle felt very welcomed indeed. She returned the curtsy and declared "On behalf of all French, I thank you and your father for your hospitality, Princess Aurora. I would be honored to accompany you."

With that, Belle accompanied Aurora out of the throne room, following her closely behind. She had managed to keep her diaper dry so far, though Fifi had had to change her a couple times on the train ride over.

Aurora held out her hand to Belle and proceeded to escort the French princess to her guest chambers. Along the way, she gave Belle a partial tour of King Stefan's castle, describing all she had learned of its 14th Century architecture and adornment.

"I understand you came to your position through your recent marriage to Prince Adam," she said eventually. "I myself have only recently taken my place as Princess of this realm. I was raised far from my father's castle for sixteen years," she explained then, "due to certain complications surrounding my birth."

Aurora hoped she wasn't boring the Belle with her life story, as attempted to engage in conversation about certain things the two princesses might have in common to some degree.

Belle willingly accepted her fellow princess's hand and allowed her to show her around the castle. It was every bit as grand as Adam's, though not as inviting. Probably because her husband and their boy were absent.

Fortunately for Aurora, Belle was quite happy to engage in conversation about each other's life stories. "Yes, that is all true. Adam had been cursed by an Enchantress to take the form of a monstrous beast. The spell could only be broken if he could love another and she could love him in return. Our first meeting was not especially romantic, but we both came to love each other deeply by his 21st birthday. Now we're happily married with a little boy."

Belle was quite interested to learn more about Aurora's upbringing. Although they had both grown up in the fashion of a commoner, the German princess had always been royalty by birth, whereas she had not been elevated to her current status until she wed her husband.

"Oh my," said Aurora, "an Enchantress? Do you know who she was, or why she cursed Prince Adam?"

"I myself was cursed by a wicked fairy on the day of my naming, to spite my father and mother for night inviting her," Aurora explained then. "I was cursed to prick my finger on the spindle of spinning wheel... and die... at sunset on my sixteenth birthday. And so I was sent away to be raised in a woodcutter's cottage by three good fairies, in the hope that they could keep me from Maleficent's curse."

Belle was intrigued to say the least. "According to the castle staff, Adam used to be quite callous and heartless in his youth. The Enchantress tested him to see if he had any love in his heart, and when he failed the test, she made him so that his exterior matched who he was on the inside. But that person is no more, thankfully. Adam is the best husband I could ask for. He's a caring ruler and a doting father, as well."

As the two princesses continued to traverse the grand castle, Belle could have sworn she heard a faint crinkling sound. However, it did not appear to be coming from her diaper, yet it still sounded fairly close-by.

"I am so happy for you, Princess Belle," Aurora said. "Prince Adam sounds like wonderful man. I myself am equally happy with Prince Phillip. He is widely regarded as the most renowned knight in the Empire, and he slew Maleficent in order to save me from her curse, but even more importantly he is a very kind and nurturing husband and father. And he will be a strong and just ruler when the time comes for him to succeed his father, King Hubert. He and I will one day inherit the Empire itself, though I hope that is not for a long, long time. Fortunately my father is not so old as King Hubert and in perfect health."

The Princesses continued to traverse the castle till they arrived at the lavish guest chambers for Belle, when Aurora noticed Belle seemed to be looking curiously at her. "Oh, Princess Belle," she said. "Is there anything you need, or anything amiss? I am at your service if so."

Belle was happy to know that Aurora's story had ended as happily as hers had, and that they were both wed to the men of their dreams with a child each.

As they continued to make their way through the castle, Belle became increasingly suspicious that she and Aurora might have had at least one other thing in common; this one pertaining to their fashion statements.

"For a moment, all I would ask of you is a single question, Aurora," the Frenchwoman stated. She leaned forward and asked "What are you wearing underneath your gown?"

Aurora smiled. It seemed that Belle somehow suspected that Aurora had her diaper on under her dress. And Aurora thought it wouldn't do to lie to the French princess, so she answered as honestly yet tactfully as she could.

"Oh that," she said. "You see, when I was with child, I began having some trouble holding my bladder. The royal physician said that isn't so uncommon, so we assumed it would resolve itself sometime after the baby came. However, my daughter is a year old now, and I continue to have this little problem. So you see, I wear... a little something under my dress to protect against it."
